What do you think Maye did last year?
Regular Season Maye *Great*... the Playoffs Drake Maye leaves a lot to be desired. Remember Peyton Manning in his early years?? Regular season MVP then playoffs choker. Let's hope that's not Drake Maye's tregetory.

Diggs wasn't Welker or Edelman in the Slot: again no thanks.
Coming from a card carrying JE11 lover.. Lol, 1. Diggs wasn’t supposed to be them in the slot, different type of player. 2. Diggs produced borderline peak Edelman numbers while coming back from an ACL and playing 55% of the snaps. 3. Neither Edelman nor Welker would do with Maye what they did with TB; they were a perfect match for each other, not so much Maye. Move on.

FTR: AJB was a Slot coming out many moons ago so; he could play there and would be more effective than Diggs there.

I think facing the #1,#2,#5 and #6 defenses in the playoffs exposed the issues with the o-line and zero adjustments in the SB proved fatal. Drake didnt play great but he was trying not to get killed every play as well.

Get back to me when he has his first 300yds Playoffs game.

We got to the Big Dance with his Great Regular season and a underrated Defense plus a little luck. But the SB sucked we look like we didn't belong *Offense mostly*: it was a weak SB on our part. I don't want to remember it.

Took Brady 5 playoff games to break 300. I am not concerned about young Maye at this point.

Agree. Drake had no shot with that O-line. Herbert also brought knives to a gunfight in the Wild Card game. It took a miracle catch by Boutte to put the Houston game away.

Super Bowl came down to who would crack first and it didn't take long for NE's line to cave which was the first drive.

Let go of the slot obsession man. This isn’t the TB12 era. Last year we had plenty of solid slot/quick hit options and guys who move around the formation. Whether we get Diggs or AJB, this year will be no different. You’re still discounting what Diggs did last year because of how the playoffs went. No receiver, no slot guy, is changing how our offense played in the postseason. That’s on the OL, McD, and Drake to figure out - I’d say in that order.

We?? Drake Maye needs him to be that...but we know that ain't happening. Can't get blood from a stone: Maye is not and will Never be Tom Brady who can work with less.
Prior to 2013, Tom Brady played in 22 playoff games and had 5 +300 yard games. Wins are what matter in the post season, stat boy, not your fantasy ********.

McDaniels Offense is synonymous with a Very Good Slot WR. Can't have one without the other.

And the Sea Chickens made Maye look like Mac Jones. What's your point??

Well he had a shoulder that was probably 60% of Mac Jones, so there's that.

However...

You're the one whining about 300 yard games. Stop. I don't care about 300 yard games AT ALL. Style points mean absolutely **** in the post-season. Wins do.

Planning to celebrate the AJ Acquisition Today Stevel; stop trying to ruin my day.

Why is this post titled like this lol

Well we did last year apparently and didn’t attempt to add a pure slot during the offseason so maybe McD disagrees.

You'll be pitching a fit that they gave up too much when and if it happens.

Not if it's for a Great WR.
