DRAFT DAY DISCUSSION 2026 NFL Draft Day 3

So many non Vrabel guys when he's not around.

Hutchins BC

People understand that once you get past like the 4th round, the odds are pretty small that you'll find someone who spends more than two or three years in the league, right?
Noone seems to understand that in these parts. Most also base their evals on the word of "experts" that watch 4-5 games. If someone is drafted that noone has heard of or an expert says he should go in xx round, but was drafted higher then the GM is an idiot and it doesn't matter what round it happens in.

Get on the recruiting phone and get Burks,Caldwell, Gyllenborg and Villari in here!

I’m always happy to see a BC kid selected. He was the one I least expected of the 4 Eagles this year.

Ok, now more than ever we have to believe AJ is a Pat.
Lots of intriguing WRs throughout the draft and we took.......none.

Well let’s hope they have a good plan in effect for UDFA’s already ….a lot of head scratchers after 1st 3 rounds ….TE looks promising although am still a little concerned with the 2 ACL tears in same knee…..interesting draft

From The Beast

  • Character feedback is exceptional (NFL scout: “Best worker on the team. … Self-motivated, egoless and same guy every day.”)
  • Played extensive snaps on special teams coverages as a freshman and sophomore

Senior Bowl Notes from profootballnetwork.com

Quintayvious Hutchins measured in at just 6'2 1/2" and 229 pounds, but he produced in spite of his lack of size on the first day of practices. Twice, he terrorized Florida's Austin Barber in particular, first beating him with a nifty euro-club-rip in 1-on-1s, before snatching Barber's feet from beneath him with that same pre-emptive footwork in team drills.

Hutchins' lateral explosive range and short-area agility are eye-catching, and he also appears to have the proportional length necessary to decouple from extensions and supplement his lower-body technique. Particularly for odd-front schemes, he should be a riser.

Looks like they are asking for round one draft pick for next year… Hopefully he comes ready to play if that’s the case… No more moping around and checking out!

We knew already, but now we double triple know.

Nussmeier to the Chiefs.
