DRAFT DAY DISCUSSION 2026 NFL Draft Day 3

Crownover in the 6th feels like really good value.

Did we trade away a 6th as well?

Jam Miller? Okay. But how do you run a 3.9YPC behind the Alabama OL?

Also when small guys skip agility drills is makes me nervous.

Edit: NVM... seems all top 3 backs did? So was their OL just bad or something? That would be weird for them.

Do we take a RB, a DT, or a developmental QB in round 7? Feels like this is more of a we don't want to lose out on this particular priority UDFA pick at this point.

The Miller pick has me pumped.

Oh we already took Morton as our 3rd QB. ok

Maybe a little bit like Patrick Pass. Solid utility type of RB

Jamarion Miller was given a chance to emerge as a lead back in 2025 and failed to do so definitively. In fact, 2025 featured his worst efficiency yet as a runner, and cast doubt on his ultimate NFL upside. Nonetheless, Miller has clear value as a utility player, and has flashed legitimate NFL traits.

Despite tipping the scales at 220 pounds, he's an uber-explosive runner with slashing lateral burst and eye-catching angle freedom and flexibility on one-cut plays. That same angle freedom shows up as a route runner, where he's displayed the ability to off-set defenders and create separation on angle routes and other quick concepts. To top it off, Miller is a near-elite blocker with unmatched competitive energy.

His inconsistent vision and spatial awareness limit his upside as a volume back and confine him to a rotational role, but his multi-phase utility is valuable enough that he deserves a spot in a rotation.

Smallish RB but not tiny, played a lot of special teams and has decent 4.4 speed.

Won't surprise me if they bring a bunch of these UDFA RB's in for tryouts.
