DRAFT DAY DISCUSSION 2026 NFL Draft Day 3

So what are we looking for on Day 3?

I say, in no particular order, G, WR, LB, DT
A developmental QB also

What do you guys think?

I'm cool with waiting. I prefer small trade ups....5-10 slots to nail your guy. Mix it up with some trade downs. Unless you're in love with a prospect and feel like you can't live without him.
 
Connor Lew. Excellent value pick by the Bengals. Sam Hecht hasn't been drafted yet I don't think.
 
Conner Lew is great value there. @manxman2601 Sam Hecht has not... unless he is one of the picks they are behind on.

I had Lew as very reasonable in the late 3rd myself.
 
On the Rich Hill trade chart, packaging 191 and 198 gets us up to about pick 153.
 
Oh crap. Trey Moore gone. Loved him as a day 3 guy.
 
The Kyle Louis fall is interesting. Teams don't know how to play him?
 
Still about 4 or 5 LBs i like. Other positions are getting thin.
 
Rb binkie of mine Emmett Johnson still on the board.

I think is a bit like Scott. They are good players, but it’s kind of a luxuary to have this guys that are very scheme specific/sub packages kind of players.
 
Three of my draft contest guys have gone in the 4th. If we'd kept those picks, I could be winning!
 
Best players on a quick look. Not my board exactly but I wouldn't call it wrong. They are from boards and posters I trust and my own spin.

#1 Abney - CB
#2 Wheatley - S
#3 Hetch - C
#4 Louis - LB
#5 Kilgore - S
#6 Ramsay - S (lots of value in safety right now IMO)
#7 Burks - WR
#8 Payne - S
#9 ???

Something like that. Don't take it as gospel. Just some guys... I'd trade up for Abney for sure. Lous as well. Wheatley is harder to justify a trade up for as while he is good he just isn't needed this year and safeties seems to be easier to find later in the draft. But i would not be mad. The only reason i wouldn't trade up for him here is there are SO many safeties left.
 
That British Ravens fan killed it with the abuse.
 
My boy Hibner is gone. Too bad.
And thank god Wright is gone too.
Hoping for Jager Burton.
