There are some many to choose from. Excluding the ones that are out of reach to make this realistic.

So many good players in that late 1st to mid 2nd range, but the player I'd love for us to take is George Gumbs Jr on day 3.
hes definitely the day 3 pick

I went with Malachai lawrence. He fits what vrabel wants the most in my opinion. If the top 7 tackles are gone do a small trade down. Dani Dennis Sutton rd 2 option
Keyron crawford rd 3. George gumbs jr day 3

Not interested in Young or Parker. Would take Lawrence at 31 and any of Howell, Thomas and Jacas in a trade down scenario

Jack kelly BYU could be a good edge player in a Vrabel D

Not to be antagonistic, but what don't you like about Parker? Seems to have good power.

All relative.

Id like certain guys at 31, certain guys in a trade down, certain guys at 63.

I voted Lawrence based on upside, but him and Howell are the two I think the Patriots need the most. The sheer speed they provide off the edge the team lacks. Wouldn't complain about Parker or Jacas if thats the route they go, either. Think Jacas should be available with a trade down though.

I went with Gabe Jacas. I really like Malachi Lawrence but Jacas leadership traits really help when things get tough. Reminds me of Bruschi in that regard.

DDS. I chose him over RLKAG, so I’m obviously a huge fan of his.

The prospects mentioned as potential Pats picks at 31 who I really do NOT want are almost all EDGE rushers:

1. Cashius Howell
2. R Mason Thomas
3. Zion Young

Lawrence comes in a distant 4th in that group. Worried about his run defense and overall effort and finish.

I see Howell as a 1 down player, 3rd and long. I would use a third on him, but nothing before that.

IMO players selected in the 1st round should be good / versatile enough to play all 3 downs....offense and defense.
