Russini & Vrabel Nothing to see here?

Karen is a wonderful woman, reporter, professional, and just a great person. If she were the one in these pics, no one would ever second guess Vrabel's explanation because Karen does not meet the American Hollywood definition of attractive, which is shallow and stupid. But because this is Russini, the suspicion is high. That is a double standard, but that is our depraved culture. It has to assume the worst because that sells headlines.

I have no idea what happened here. I would not like the pics if it were my husband no matter who the woman is, but I don't see an affair. I see something that has to be explained in their personal lives to their spouses. I aslo see a paparazzi taking pics as if its a setup. Something just stinks. Vrabel does need to be smarter than this.

Asking if you can be at a "romantic" location in a non romantic setting, with non romantic intentions is not being ignorant, it's being responsible. You may want to learn the difference.

Unless the hotel has a "you must be ****ing each other to book this" disclaimer it is still possible they're just there platonically. If you know everything feel free to share though

If true, that would have been a really, really pertinent thing to mention in his statement.

“I was at the resort with Coach so-and-so to enjoy a day of R&R prior to moving on to the League meetings.”

Bingo. I also see the setup part. The Who will do it is where my mind stops wondering.

Also a video would answer a lot of questions. There isn't any.... just still photos that are very easy to take out of context. Weird that the tabloid took no video....

And since you're a Bill Belichick fan I hope you have the same energy for Bill's adulterous behavior that ended his marriage and then his relationship with Linda. Or is that ok when he does it?

I think it wasn’t a tabloid photographer…more likely a staff member at the hotel or a guest…who just snapped some photos then sold them to the tabloids.

I'm pretty sure people would still be saying the encounter looks highly suggestive if you replaced Russini with Guregian under the exact same circumstances/optics.

Yeah, I am with Ian too, it looks bad but depending on context it could be a dagger. Like, is that rooftop ONLY accessible by the two of them, and only via a single room? Then yes signs point to infidelity. But if it's a publicly accessible roof and they're just hanging out shooting the **** and the hug is either a goodbye or hello embrace it's less damning. In my opinion

No, being ignorant is asking “Where is this proof that they were at a romantic couples getaway?” when we have pictures of them together.

Now you’re trying to move the goalposts but if someone is so belligerent that they don’t accept actual photographs (which have been confirmed to be legit) as proof of, at the very least, spending time together at a romantic getaway then that person has clearly chosen to wallow in ignorance.

I'm gonna admit right now,

I don't know what we mean by romantic getaway lol

The words "romantic getaway" to me imply the intent of the two people. Not the location. Just because a location is known for being a romantic getaway, does not mean the two were on a romantic getaway. Like, just because I went to a gay bar to have a beer with a buddy doesn't mean I'm gay. It just means I'm a moron who wanted a beer lol.

I've never been on a romantic getaway. So I don't get the implications of the setting. Forgive me if I sound like I'm just being difficult for the sake of it.
 
People here are ridiculous. How many MARRIED guys CLASP their hands with another woman's hands when they "hug." How many MARRIED guys lounge around in a pool less than a foot away from each other. Vrabel got caught ****ing around on his wife. Why do people refuse to connect dots around here? Stories about of NFL players stepping out on their wives - it's a tradition as old as the day is long. What makes people think Vrabel is immune?

It's hilarious that anyone can come to the conclusion that Vrabel drove 2 hours to hang out with this woman in a hot tub who's not his wife and they're just talking AJ Brown.

They're ****ing.

See you guys keep adding more and more details the further this thread goes that add more damning evidence and are convincing me it is as bad as it looks. I am starting to have my mind changed. This went from me defending a still shot of a hug and tanning at a pool to all this other evidence: romantic getaway, only reachable by two rooms, drove two hours away, were in a hotbut by themselves, etc. That's all I asked for. As long as all these things are TRUE and not assumptions then I'm convinced it's an affair

If they were staying in the same room, the photographer would have leaked that. If they were staying in adjoining rooms, the photographer would have leaked that. If they were there all by themselves for an overnight meeting, the photographer would have leaked that. If they were walking around for a couple of days, we would have more pictures. If they checked in at the same time, ........

On and on and on.

The only one who is "totally wrong" here is the person claiming to know with certainty how others would perceive such a hypothetical situation.

You, nor I, can say with certainty how others would perceive this situation if the woman was Gugerian instead of Russini. But I am "pretty sure" (not "certain") that the optics would still be problematic.

This wasn't a sit-down dinner - this was a full-body embrace, alone on a rooftop only accessible via private rooms, at a resort known as a romantic getaway. If Vrabel appeared with any woman under such circumstances, it would almost certainly raise eyebrows.

He said him and a buddy drove 2 hours to hang out and then drove 2 hours back to their own hotel.

She says there was 6 people there even though the 3 sources who confirmed they was there say they was alone. She says it's not unusual for her to hangout with sources outside of the work environment which obviously implies she thinks we're think there up there so she can get some scoops. Sure man. I don't see Adam schefter hanging out with Sean Payton in a hot tub. It's ridiculous.

Plus apparently you can only get to this part of the hotel through a private entrance in some sort of romantic room you have to book.

I don't care that he's ****ing this woman. I don't care that she's ****ing this man. Cheating is a problem for the two of them to be dealing with the fall out today all on their own with their spouses.

What I care about is the total lack of professionalism from both of them and the lack of disclosure they have in regards to their private relationship. That's weak sauce and I'm embarrassed that this man is gonna preach accountability and entitlement removal when he acts like a 22 year old frat boy pig.
