100%.
There is zero chance, zero that Rodgers is signing anywhere where he isn't the unquestioned starter.
any idea on bo nix's rehab time frame?

From Mile High Sports:

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix is ahead of schedule in his recovery from January 2026 ankle surgery and is expected to be fully cleared for OTAs (Organized Team Activities) in May
. Despite an initial 12-week recovery estimate, he is running and jumping, showing no issues with his range of motion

if thats the case, discount double check aint going to denver

Everyone knows He’ll be in Pittsburgh for their annual masturbate to 9-8 campaign

Re-sign with Pittsburgh or retire. He doesn't strike me as someone so desperate to stay in the show that he'll sign up to play for possibly a month or so, then retire at season's end.
Tomlins gone.

Denver is a good fit.

Florio has no inside information, he has a daily two hour show so he has to fill that two hours with a lot of speculation.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button: so Aaron Rodgers thinks the Mile High Air will make him age backwards??

Well, Nix has a lot of experience recovering from broken ankles.

But do you acknowledge that Denver signing him would make him the full season starter, no questions asked, even if Bo Nix had a clean bill of health next week? Is Denver prepared to do that?

We can say what we want about how good Bo Nix actually is, but he was the 12th overall pick just 2 years ago. And while he's certainly not trash, Rodgers is not 2012 Peyton Manning. So signing a 42 year old when it's at least debatable how much he can help at this point would IMO be ending Bo's time in Denver. I don't think you can bench him and come back to him in 2027.

Nix is the future and the Broncos are his team now because he earned it.

Pats would have had a much tougher time in the AFCC if Nix was QB.

Nix is a very mobile QB.

What if he gets hurt again ? Rodgers is there to take over.

You're missing the point.
In case you haven't been paying attention for the past 15 years, Rodgers is not the type of guy that is going to choose playing second fiddle to anyone.
He will sign somewhere to be the unquestioned starter or he will retire.

I like Lily. I don’t like AR.
There's no truth to the rumor that her gratuitous nude scene in Project Hail Mary is what's driving ticket sales - especially in IMAX theaters.

I already asked where are Rodgers other options right now?

I don't see him going there, and Denver seemed to shoot down the rumor, but smart for Denver to look around for a vet as they know that if they had a decent backup QB last year they might have had a chance to go to the SB (and lose - but still)

You could say the same thing about the Patriots as some advocated for a backup veteran QB with SB experience in the offseason.

Neither Nix nor Maye should be worried about their backup - maybe last season but not now.

I'm more zen with a Tommy D at $2 mil a year rather than $10 - $15 mil for a vet to hopefully sit on the bench

For either team I'd be mindful of shadow roster QBs who will stay in shape without having to go to camps and can be coaxed back mid season if there's an injury mid season. That makes more cap management sense to me.

I gave my reason why it is unlike that Rodgers would never want to go to Denver. I forgot why it is unlikely the Broncos would sign him.

Nix is a wildly inconsistent QB. He can be elite one moment and the worst QB in the league the next moment. He has had several games where he couldn't hit a side of a barn from 10 feet away for three quarters to score multiple TD drives in the fourth quarter.

What if in this upcoming season he goes a stretch of a number of games where he is awful without the heroic fourth quarter magic? With an established starting QB on the roster like Rodgers, it could create a QB controversy. The media, fans, and even players might be calling for Rodgers to step in and save the season to make a Super Bowl run.

I still don't see Rodgers going to Denver unless Payton gives him the starting job and make it his job to lose. I don't see Payton ever promising that.

I still think Rodgers goes to the Steelers with their improved receiving corp. Even without Tomlin, I think they prefer patchworking the team and being satisfied with being a team that barely gets into the playoffs and losing in the first round. Why else would they pick McCarthy to replace Tomlin rather than a young up and coming coordinator who would start a complete new rebuild? I just don't see McCarthy wanting to do a rebuild and trading for Pittman doesn't scream building for the future either.
