There are rumors flying that the Patriots may be interested in Marvin Harrison jr

There are rumors in more than one place on this player

Yes please. But would cost an arm and a leg.

Signing Doubs is an agressive move?
This is just throwibg stuff against the wall to see if it sticks.
Would prefer MJH over Brown

significant trade package? for what? his fathers name?

maybe it was because he was playing with kyler 'short stuff' murray, but he has not come anywhere near living up to his college hype...

not sure id give up more than a low 3 for him...

I’d give up more than a low 3. This guy would excel in NE imo.

But I’m not buying it.

Just a little food for thought. Marvin Harrison SR took 4 years till he had a breakout season. He averaged 750 yards a year his first 3 seasons. The 1999 season when he finally broke out, guess what the difference was? He had a real QB (Manning) throwing to him for the first time. Look what that grew into.

you giving up a "significant trade package" on a what if / maybe?

thats a tough sell for me...

Total BS from both organizations. If I am the Cards, there is no way I give up on MHJ especially after toddler Murray was let go. And if I am the Pats there is no way I pay the significant price MHJ would cost because his production simply hasn't warranted the cost.

The only value in this report is that it may get seen in Philadelphia.

Yes for the collective reaction of Colts fans

I'd be willing to trade #31 for JHJ. I'd even throw in a 27 3rd rounder, because, Christ, he was the #4 pick in the draft. I'd even throw in Douglas because there are a number of uber quick slot WR's that could be had in the middle rounds this season, or in FA after cutdown day for that matter. Getting 3 assets is just to satisfy the AZ faithful, all 120 of them.

JHJ has be pretty underwhelming for his career so far. Certainly not a flat out bust, but not the "generational" WR we were promised when he came out 2 seasons ago. He might find new life in a new offense with a top 5 QB.

All that being said, it's a nice thought, but is never going to happen.

Its a fake AI news site

You have spent the last 10 years stating that wide receivers aren't worth a crap. Now you come out and want to trade our first round pick for a wr who has been at best mediocre since he came into the league. Have the twins hacked your account?
