Ugh. I said exactly that.


"It is not the only factor in predicting success, there have been many bad pass rushers with good 10 yard splits, but as this shows, not many good ones with bad 10 splits."
 
Form your opinions but this wasn't very impressive from DDS although he's not out and out rushing.

 
I feel like he's consistently had a late 1st early 2nd grade for months

There are people who see him as a mid 2nd rounder. I think he's better than that.

Consensus board has him at 52
PFF - 51
Dane Brugler - 57
Daniel Jeremiah - not in top 50
The Ringer - 44
Todd Mcshay is one who does have him that high at 26.

I don't love the 10 split but everything else is very good.



and that vert!

Only 5 EDGEs since 1999 have done better and then only by 1" at most. Gumbs is on par with Myles Garrett.

WTF. How was the LT not called for NUMEROUS facemask penalties??? Of the 7 plays, he grabbed the facemask of the defender on at least 5 of them. ...
