Pundit mock drafts 2026 [maybe with FAILs]

I think this one is well thought-out:

I would go with a different direction at 31 (or with a different player at the same direction), but it is certainly plausible.

Prisco still thinks the NFL works like it did 20 years ago. And all he’s got is bluster.

Question:

Given your BPA argument, and the fact Byard is only signed for one year . . . how would you feel if the Pats took Thienemann at 31?

Coincidentally, I just posted this in the safety thread:

My dilemma with Dillon Thieneman:

1. I definitely think he's a 1st round prospects. Game changing range and ball skills. Top 20 value.

2. I like Treydan Stukes more.

So to answer your question:

1. I would be thrilled with Thieneman at 31.
2. I would rather trade back and take Stukes.

I heard a mock today where Thienenmann goes to the Vikings. Vikings don't have much talent at safety, Harrison is either done or close to it.

Sounded reasonable.

Fair. But in the mock here he went 32.

I'd go Iheanachor and Ted Hurst in that scenario, then try to trade up for Derrick Moore.

Yates is very high on Keylan Rutledge.

Alex Barth's latest mock.

Four picks the same as in my latest mock so obviously I approve. And, if you can get Blake Miller and Gabe Jacas in the same draft, that's a win-win-win.

Listing the picks for those who don't want to click:

1.31 RT Blake Miller, Clemson
2.63 EDGE Gabe Jacas, Illinois
TRADE: Patriots trade 3.90, 4.131, and 6.202 to Atlanta for 3.79
3.79 TE Sam Roush, Stanford
4.125 WR De'Zhaun Stribling, Ole Miss
5.171 S Jakobe Thomas, Miami
6.191 RB Adam Randall, Clemson
6.198 LB Lander Barton, Utah
6.212 CB Devon Marshall, North Carolina State
7.247 DT Bryson Eason, Tennessee

There's your EDGE rusher. Enjoy.

Maybe we can trade for Shemar Stewart, too.

Doug Kyed:

1.31 EDGE Zion Young, Missouri
2.63 OT Caleb Tiernan, Northwestern
3.95 WR Malachi Fields, Notre Dame
4.125 TE Jack Endries, Texas
4.131 LB Bryce Boettcher, Oregon
5.171 CB Hezekiah Masses, California
6.191 RB Kaelon Black, Indiana
6.198 G Anez Cooper, Miami
6.202 DT Cole Brevard, Texas
6.212 QB Cole Payton, North Dakota State
7.224 OT Fa’alili Fa’amoe, Wake Forest
