I don't think this is Sam, Grogan 14 has over 5k posts. Its impossible for Sam to come in under another name and have 5,000 posts

About fifteen sixteen years ago i tried having two accounts with different screen names. Ian pm'd me (actually my wife because i used her name) and said i had to chose one. I stuck with refelxblue. Ian would know if sam tried to do this.

100% it's Sam, they are the same 5K posts lol. What it isn't is another account, it is the same one with a changed user name. If you need proof, check out Sam's 'Steal of the Draft' thread and look who the author is:

Supposedly he looks amazing so far in TC.
This could be another situation like Ladd Mcconkey where its obvious Pats picked the wrong player. Will Campbell will not be in the same top tier as Simmons.

Unlike Andy (who did create multiple accounts) at least Sam hasn't lied about his identity. OFC he hasn't owned it either lol

There have been rumours Brady was interested in ownership but Kraft denied him. I think that’s pretty plausible. Kraft acts sentimental, but no matter much he claims he loves Brady, business/money comes first. From Brady’s standpoint, he probably believes that if it weren’t from him, Kraft and the Patriots wouldn’t be valued as a top 3-5 team in the league.

Brady is the most competitive person alive and once he became owner of the Raiders, the Pats were dead to him. We all loved that competitiveness when it was for us, but now the best player in team/league history views us as the enemy. Kraft had to know that when/if he turned Tom down.

The bet was stupid but Sam didn't just make it he was the one that offered the terms. Unless/until Andy lets Sam off the hook he is a Welsher for not honoring it. There's no requirement someone has to have a sense of honor to post here, Triumph publicly Welshed on a bet 6 years ago and not only has he trolled/lied/posted here right along he attacks anyone who brings it up. Arguably Sam is a more pathetic Welsher since he went so far as to create a false flag thread saying he planned on honoring the bet in order to manipulate Ian into absolving him but it's not Ian's place to forgive the bet, it was made with Andy. OFC Ian is the only one who can enforce the bet but that doesn't change who the bet was with and who's the only one that can forgive it.

Sam has to live with whatever **** he gets for Welshing. No matter how stupid a bet it may have been, a bet is a bet.

That’s the way it should be. We aren’t talking about peanuts here; we are talking about HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of dollars worth of assets. I wouldn’t give away that much money to my own mother, let alone a former employee.

“Enemy” is a strong word because the owners are also partners but in general, that’s the way it should be. His only concern is his own team.

Players going into ownership isn’t terribly common but Jordan and Gretzky each had statues in one city while owning a percentage of another team.

Who cares about this silly bet made so long ago, I don't remember the terms. It is so unimportant and trivial. Sam has made a LOT of dumb comments over the years, but they've also been the fodder that generates a LOT of comments and discussion. A forum like ours NEEDS some dumb comments, especially when we are in the off season. Plus, he isn't wrong all the time. I mean where would be be without P2's WR comments. Where would this community be if we all thought alike? Sam needs to be absolved of his welch. Let him come back as Grogan14 and never being able to us SamCunningham be his punisment.

Edit: Though everything I wrote about the prick is verifiably true, it was also inappropriate and I apologize... again. But this is the only place on the internet I post, and I just get so frustrated i sometimes just pours out.

There are a number of reasons, IF the story is true, Kraft wouldn't have sold Brady a SIGNIFICANT piece of the Pats. First, he didn't have the money. If he got the same cozy deal he got from Oakland, the NFL would never have approved it claiming it was a ploy to subvert the cap all the years Brady wasn't demanding top dollar. Brady COULD have been a 1% owner, but he wanted more. That was HIS choice. Brady told us at the statue unveiling he was a "Patriot for life". I choose to take him at his word.
