Seems to be paying dividends.

You had to wonder toward the end of BB’s run if the staff had gotten TOO scarce.

No doubt it was way too small. And to top it off, from what we have heard, they were all yes men/sycophants as well.
 
The assistants were getting poached almost yearly, it was almost embarrassing how badly teams were desperately trying to get the magic potion.

I get BB's argument in general, but 2022 and 2023 were definitely part of the problem.
 
I'm glad what made sense after last year was made official. Terrell Williams deserved to stay on staff, and Zak Kuhr deserved to get a shot at being the official DC. Only way to do it was with Williams getting 'bumped up' to Assistant HC.

Also, not a lot of poaching by other teams ... considering making the SB & over-performing...

Interesting that Devon Mayo is still on the staff as a strength and conditioning coach. Thanksgiving and Christmas in the Mayo family must be interesting.
