I am pretty sure a company wanting to sponsor the training facility of an NFL team is very normal lol. I just saw a story a few weeks ago about how the Eagles' training complex sponsor was changing hands. That cheapo Jeffrey Lurie...

Yes. For instance the Cowboys facility is called the Ford (car) Center.

At least it's a local company, or was....NB could be property of some PE firm for all I know...but I do remember my father taking me to the NB outlet (I think in Brighton) to get me cheap NB sneakers as a kid in the early/mid 80s...Bill Rogers was the big athlete endorser for NB back then!

Eagles facility was NovaCare for longest time and is now Jefferson Health, one of the two largest health networks here.

I have not seen anyone wearing New Balance shoes in quite a long time. Is it a brand that will appeal to 20-somethings? My impression is that Nike and a few other brands left "Newbies" in the dust a long time ago.

New Balance also sponsors the Celtics and Bruins practice facilities which is actually in their headquarters (right on the Pike in Brighton)

They're doing ok for themselves.
