My Ridiculously Early Start on a 2026 Offseason Plan

Some useless info for you.

Bradyn Swinson had the same pass rush win rate as Maxx Crosby. He had a higher win rate on true pass sets than Aidan Hutchinson, Danielle Hunter and Trey Hendrickson among many others.

Now admittedly that might be because he was only in on 11 pass rush snaps but I've decided to take it as a binky win.

He had a similarly impressive rate in college from what I remember.

I was excited, thought at that number we were still in play for another higher priced Edge.
I should have known better, if something sounds too good to be true....

I agree with this.

Sign Pierce and a LG, and the offense is 90-95% set. Henry, Moses and Onwenu adequate fpr 2026 unless opportunities arise.
 


Easy to free up another $20M or so, not including restructurings or Onwenu/Henry contracts.

The Pats have room to make a run at anyone they really want.
 


That probably takes Dallas put of the FA EDGE market.

I would love for them to sign TE Cade Otton or Trade for Cole Kmet.

- AVT reportedly signing with Giants for $11M AAV - I would have matched that

You were the first person I thought of when I saw AVT’s contract AAV.
 
That AVT deal is definitely surprising. Wish we wouldve went in on that one.

I do like the Dre'Mont Jones signing, but the edge rusher prices are definitely higher than expected. I knew Phillips would top $20mill, but $30? Damn.
