Which WR do we target

I think Alec Pierce is the most obvious WR for us to take a good look at… His last two years have been pretty amazing and he is still young. I am not a big fan of AJ Brown. He has shown to be a major malcontent. Played for Vrabs before and Brown had bad things to say about him (although he respected him) and definitely. He also will just shut everything down if he’s not happy and not engaged, or not getting enough passes thrown his way. We don’t need that kind of illness on this team.
Amazing? Really?
He BARELY Topped 1k this year with 7 TDS, last year not even a K with 6.

Amazing is Marvin Harrison and the like, this guy is mediocre as fk.

Bah

Given Pierce’s strengths as a wr don’t see why he would choose to play with Purdy over Maye. (This is if the money is close)

Field-stretcher Pierce would be a strong fit in the Patriots’ offense, but they might believe he’s not enough of an upgrade on their current Kayshon Boutte/Mack Hollins tandem to justify more than $30 million per season. The 49ers, meanwhile, could be tired of waiting for former first-rounder Ricky Pearsall to stay healthy. Pierce is predictably generating wide interest after the Colts surprisingly let him reach the open market, but he is still most likely to end up with a cap-flushed, receiver-desperate team like the Titans.
He's not.
Glad to see we're on the same page with that.
So what's the plan, boys?

Josina Anderson reports the market for free agent Alec Pierce “may be too much” for the Patriots, but that the 49ers “might pay it.”

I thought I’d seen $26 to $28 million suggested as the price for Pierce. Is this supposed media report really just shilling to pump up his valuation?

Josina Anderson likely got that number from someone with the Patriots FO.
She didn't get it out of thin air. That's what Pierce is asking for. Some dumbass team is going to give it to him. Christian Kirk 2.0.

Find it hard to believe a team will pay Pierce as much as the rumours are saying. We need help but paying good players like great ones isn't the best strategy

Of the remaining free agents Doubs replaces Digg's skillset. Im starting to lean trade/draft to address WR/TE though.
