Alex Guerrero a cancer-like presence in Las Vegas

I still think Belechick kicking Guerrero out of the locker room had more to do with Brady's departure than anything.
Seems like it. I had forgotten about this pos.

Pulling the same bs he tried to do on the pats.

I like brady but he associates with weirdos and grifters WAY too much. Brady is obviously intelligent but not very wise. Always thought this

Brady is ****ing weird, man. And I think Guerrero-era and on is when it showed the most.

Tom Bradys wannabe boyfriend causing a stir in Vegas?

I'm not joking that brady might be a level 7 susceptible.

can the crv not take what life throws at it?

Agree. We've discussed this 1000 times on this board.

Fundamentally, the physical stuff that AG does (pliability, stretching, recouperation, and some eastern medicine techniques) have been proven as beneficial to the human body and athletes. Depending on the circumstances (position, strength, injury, etc) that may not be the best for football players. Thats why BB had a hair across his ass

The problem with AG and Tom is they push this other **** which destroys the credibility of the good parts of AGs philosophy and program.

LOL She does make conscience deserts but they still look freaking good such as a dark chocolate/peanut butter bark. Healthy but still a ****load of calories.

I miss dopey Tom.

But if I can play armchair psychiatrist for a moment... and as always, be VERY aware, I'm not a professional, just a dude with like, an opinion, man...

What drove his success also makes him very vulnerable to guys like Guerrero. Brady has always had a HUGE chip on his shoulder. At least since Michigan, nothing was ever really handed to him. Buried on all the depth charts, virtually ignored even when he had success (6th rounder after collegiate success, dismissed as a system QB after professional success), he has been fueled to prove his doubters wrong.

Along comes Guerrero telling him he's got the secret to make him the most special boy ever. Somebody driven like Tom is? They're going to eat it up.

Bear in mind, this is pure speculation.

The Guerrero stuff is what started to undermine my fandom of Tom as a person. Utmost respect for him as a player. But the person? Can do without these days.

Yeah, Guerrero just gives off such huckster energy. Scam. Flimflam. Snake oil.

And Tom is an utter moron for putting as much stock into him as he does.
Let me get this straight.

Tom thinks that Guerrero was important to his success and values his advice. And, you know better.

Gave you an ‘agree’. But I’m also open to the fact that the greatest QB and competitor is likely a scam artist.
I could not believe he did a commercial for pizza hut recently. He lost me there.

In a word.... yes.

In more words... I have looked into what Guerrero peddles. I have looked into what the recognized medical community says about Guerrero. I feel very comfortable in saying that Guerrero is a conman who has found a dupe in Tom.

And also, it IS possible for someone on the outside to judge these things. We do it all the time with others. Tom is no different.

He hasn't been "one of us" for some time. (which has also been discussed)

I remember him throwing a football from one yacht to another in Monte Carlo for the F1 race and thinking "well, he's not ours anymore". Truth was, he wasn't for a long time at that point.

Yep.

Fun Fact: On that same yacht was one of the fmr Spice Girls.

Brady did something no other NFL QB has done playing like he did until he was 45.

He clearly attributes his longevity to the training and diet he got from Guerrero.

It's not strange that he would find it valuable for other pro athletes to take the same approach he took.

That doesn't mean Guerrero is a genius worthy of following. Just pointing out that you can't deny the perceived success Brady personally felt following his training regime.

With that said, Brady should read the room and realize you can't force unconventional training/diet methods upon people. If he wants to provide free consultation to those in the Raiders that are interested is fine but he shouldn't be having his friend forced into the locker room.

Alex Guerero was Willie Wonka to Brady's Charlie, man, and that chip was an enormous sugar free chocolate chip. You can't blame him - coaches were universally wrong about him; even BB had to carve out his secret belief that Tom's success was half his, and I for one still 1/4-believe it. But why should Tom, given all the events?

But a cancer-like presence in LV? That's a pretty tall order. Unless he makes guys go out in the desert and dig a hole he can't be that bad...

In February 2021, I fee like the answer has to be Old Spice.
He meant the lady who played Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam in Dune.
