Some questions that have occurred to me following the combine so far.

1. How high can Kenyon Sadiq and Dillon Thieneman rise?

2. Is Caleb Downs still a lock to be safety 1? I wonder whether Thieneman can jump him.

3. Dani Dennis-Sutton. How high could he go? Can we get him at 63 if we go RT in the first? I didn't like him before because I thought he was too big in the 270lb range. but now he's under 260 with that athleticism, he's very interesting.

4. He might go too high now but J-Rod is a real possibility for us at 63 if he's there. Spillane is 32 and he can replace Gibbins immediately and be Spillane's long-term replacement.

5. This is a great draft to get a safety. I love Stukes of course, and he certainly helped himself, but VJ Payne in round 4 or 5 is really enticing.

6. We need to take advantage of this deep TE class.

7. WR day is always the highlight but I'm looking forward to OL day to see who stands out.

Great questions.

- I think Downs doesn't get out of the top 10. Still S1. Thieneman goes top 20. McNeil-Warren probably goes 1st round as well.

- Sadiq could go as high as 9. Floor is probably Denver at 28, doubt he will last that long.

How high will Eli Stovers go? Top 64 seems almost certain, top 50 likely, 1st round a possibility (Denver, Seattle).

- Dani Dennis-Sutton-ador has gone from an afterthought for me to the most interesting EDGE not named Akheem Mesidor. Want him sometime day 2, though I would not be disappointed with Malachi Lawrence, Zion young, or Gabe Jacas.

- I think Jrod goes top 50 but definitely an option at 63 if he is there.

- Really want Stukes, but VJ Payne has a ton of upside. Really want one of those 2 guys.

This draft is setting up nicely. Hoping FA will cooperate:

- Resign our key FAs
- An EDGE rusher (2 if Chaisson not resigned) plus an IOL in FA. Maybe a TE.

Come out of the first 4 rounds with an RT (ideally Freeling, Iheanachor, Lomu or Miller), EDGE (Mesidor unlikely, Parker, Dennis-Sutton, Young, Jacas, Lawrence), S (Stukes, Payne, Wheatley), WR (Hurst, Bell, Williams, Stribling) and LB (Golday, Rodriguez, Louis) and we would be in great shape.

For example:

31. Iheanachor/Lomu/Miller
63 +/-. Hurst/Bell or Golday/Rodriguez or Dennis/Sutton or Stukes
95 +/-. Dennis-Sutton/Lawrence or Louis or Stukes or Williams
4a. DeZhaun Stribling or VJ Payne
4b. Ditto

6. We need to take advantage of this deep TE class.
I still don't know if the combine made things clearer. There's a round 3-4 bottleneck of good but not great prospects like Klein, Raridon, Hibner etc and I was hoping someone would jump clear of the bunch. I don't think they did though. I wish Delp had been able to test.

Prospects I'm nore inclined to draft following this combine (not in order). These are prospects I haven't really considered of late but am much more inclined towards them now (for the right price)

1. Germie Bernard.
2. Dani Dennis-Sutton.
3. Gracen Halton
4. Gabe Jacas
5. Jack Kelly (LB BYU)
6. D'Angelo Ponds
7. Ephesians Prysock
8. Tacario Davis
9. Julian Neal (back in)
10. Lorenzo Styles (special teamer)
11. Adam Randall

And players I'm still not quite there on but closer:

1. Jeff Caldwell
2. J Michael Sturdivant
3. Zane Durant
4. Kaleb Elams-Orr (LB TCU)
5. Colbie Young
6. Chris Brazzell
7. Ja'Kobi Lane

Players I'm out on:

1. Makai Lemon (that interview was scary)
2. Miles Kitselman (although I was never in)

So few people did badly at this combine it's hard to be OUT on anyone.

I'm in on Caldwell, but I was in before the Combine.

Dani Dennis-Sutton the revelation for me.

I move Jacob Rodriguez up as well.

I really want (in rough order within group, most plausible candidate underscored):

- 1 out of Monroe Freeling, Max Iheanachor, Caleb Lomu or Blake Miller

- 1 out of Akheem Mesidor, Dani Dennis-Sutton, Malachi Lawrence, Gabe Jacas, Zion Young

- 1 out of Jake Golday, Jacob Rodriguez, Kyle Louis, Jack Kelly or Justin Jefferson

- 1 out of Treydan Stukes, VJ Payne or Zakee Wheatley

- 1 out of Devin Moore, CJ Demmings, Julian Neal, Tacario Davis or Ephesians Prysock

- 1 out of Chris Bell, Ted Hurst, Jeff Campbell, Reggie Virgil or Josh Calderon. Not quite there yet on Chris Brazzell or Ja'Kobi Lane

- 1 out of DeZhaun Stribling, Skyler Bell, Antonio Williams or Germie Bernard

- 1 out of Chase Bisontis, Emmanuel Pregnon, Keylon Rutledge or Jalen Farmer

- 1 TE, still not sure which ones

- 1 out of Caleb Banks

I would be very happy with a draft that looked like:

31 (possibly with a slight trade back). Max Iheanachor, OT, Arizona St.

63 (possibly with a slight trade back). Dani Dennis-Sutton EDGE, Penn St.

95 (possibly with a slight trade up). Kyle Louis, LB Pittsburgh.

4a. DeZhaun Stribling, WR, Ole Miss.

4b. VJ Payne, S, Kansas.

5a (trade 2 6ths). Jalen Farmer, OG, Kentucky.

5b. Jeff Caldwell, WR Cincinnati.

6a. Sam Roush, TE, Stanford.

6b. Ephesians Prysock, CB, Washington.

I don't think that is terribly unrealistic in terms of projected values at this point.

I think that would add a ton of talent and depth, especially if we addressed IOL and EDGE in FA.

In that scenario, Jamari Johnson and Charlie Becker would be top targets in 2027.

We have 248. I'd like another CB or WR - returner. Depth.

I'd be very happy with that. I'm hoping Jalen Farmer tests today because he's probably my favourite current OG pick.

Jeremiah made a comment that got me thinking. If Ty Simpson is still on the board at 31, I wonder what Arizona would trade to move up. That 5th year option comes into play there a bit.
Great point, that 5th year option is huge for teams. Though if Simpson throws really well at his pro day, Jets may look at him at 16.

I just did a pre-season projection based upon a pre-draft trade for AJ Brown but having watched a detailed breakdown of his contract situation, it makes no sense for the Eagles to trade him pre Jun 1st so I've deleted it.

A.J. Brown have a poison pill contract with the Eagles we know he's a Talent. But if their relationship goes South no pun the Eagles are you know...

Bama QB yikes no offence Jalen Hurts.

PFF just did a mock with Jacob Rodriguez going to the Bills in the first.
