So let me see if I understand what "win mode" looks like:

A QB who is coming off a torn ACL who relies on his mobility.

A soon to be 37 year old tight end who looks like a shell of his former self and is about to marry the biggest entertainer on planet earth.

A WR that they let walk in 2022 and will be 32 who is coming back from a gruesome knee dislocation, torn acl/ligaments and currently isnt even on the team.

Kermit deserves the benefit of the doubt
wouldn't shock me to see them back running **** in the west unfortunately

I’ve watched alot of Bucs over the years living in FL and Evans has obviously been one of the league’s elites over the years…but not sure how much he has left now….he has had some injuries past 2 years that have slowed him down or Sat him out. I feel like when older elite WR come to our team (with the exception of Moss) they aren’t generally that same explosive player….Have to see what Pats do

WC's weakness seems to be with the bull rush, which I would suggest is probably one of the easiest weaknesses to correct. He'll likely focus on strength training in his first pro offseason, and is young and likely still physically developing.

If he was consistently getting beat clean vs pushed back into the pocket while engaged, I'd be much more worried about his development.

The fact that he seemed to further struggle against strength after a leg injury would seem to be expected.

It would seem to me that Will's struggles should be relatively easy to address in the offseason. Given his statements a few days after the SB, I would suggest he will be highly motivated to hit the weights this offseason.

Hopefully he doesn't end up on PED list or over doing it and ending up with further knee issues, etc.

In other words, I'm not all that worried about Will's further development. The footwork is there. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders. His struggles are not poor habits that need to be broken or recurring mental mistakes like jumping offsides all the time.

I was surprised to see so many on here completely looking over how Will developing in the offseason is basically guaranteed, given his specific issue this season.

Settle down fellas, the kid should be fine.

Hes know Trent Williams, but he should certainly show improvement next year.

There were a large number of Maye's sacks that were at the LOS. Because he'd moved out of the pocket and was trying to extend the play.. Maye lost 201 yards on the 47 sacks that he took.

Sacks for 0-1 yard / 2 yard
LVR - 2 / 1
MIA - 0 / 0
PIT - 1 / 0
CAR - 1 / 0
BUF - 1 / 3
NOR - 1 / 0
TEN - 1 / 0
CLE - 0 / 0
ATL - 0 / 2
TAM- 1 / 0
NYJ - 0 / 0
CIN - 0 /0
NYG - 1 / 1
BUF - 1 / 0
BAL - 1 / 1
NYJ - 1 / 0
MIA - No sacks

13 of 47 for 0-1 yards (27.7%)
8 of 47 went for 2 yards (17%)

21 of 47 for 2 yards or less. (44.7%).

To me, that's pretty significant.

Great job bringing the receipts. That's exactly what I saw during the season, Maye would step up in the pocket and then took the sack.?

Hmmm, yeah I think I could make one exception to the rule for a year with Williams.

Williams is a HOF lady tackle. He's also going to be 38 next season, and you don't trade for a 38 year old tackle, especially when it will stunt the development of your real left tackle.

Vrabel already hit on exactly this point. He said it took him 4 years to develop into a real pro player. He understands that 22 and 23 year olds are kids playing a man's game, and you need to work to develop them into the players you want them to become at 24.
