Omar Campbell is a fine WR, but I cannot envision any scenario in which I would consider him BPA at 31.
Wish lists are for Asians with leather and high heels.
How would you feel about Omar Cooper Jr at 31?
I don't know enough about Mafe but I do think we need two edges, one of which might be Chaisson. My question is would you pursue him and sign Chaisson or is it one or the other, in your opinion? I think Mafe would be a bit more expensive
He should qualify as "better, younger, cheaper" over Harold Landry although we might have to see on cheaper.I like the idea of Mafe and Chaisson at EDGE.
Mafe is 6'4" 260#, 27 years old. And very athletic. He had a 4.53 40, 1.56 10 split, 4.47 SS, and 41.5" VJ. He should be reasonably affordable.

I would move Wilson to Backup Center (his natural position, which is a seriously underrated need for any Team). But I do agree that we need a significant upgrade at LG.The more clips and film comes out about the SB, the more i want nothing to do with Wilson next year. Im really souring on the guy, good backup but thats about it.
Go get Linderbaum or draft a new C.
Tonga was excellent up until his injury. Having said that, a NT only can be probably be found for cheap, either in FA or day 3 of the draft. Durden's rise probably affects Tonga's chances of re-signing too. Tonga has gone from clear DT 3 to DT4 or even 5 if Farmer shows something next year.Tonga was sitting on his couch and we signed him for $2.7M. Now we are going to pay $7.5M for 2 years? Get out of here. Just draft a rookie DT and sign another guy off his couch.
$17M a year for Chaisson seems high too. Hawkins and Lowe at $6M are OK, although I am not a Hawkins fan and hope we draft a replacement.
PatsFans always falls in love and overrates the players we have. We released Duggar, Strange, Peppers, Wise, Bentley, Andrews, Sow, etc. and got better. When I said we should release Wooldridge one poster went NUTS on me - we released Wooldridge less than 1 week later. I hope the Pats don't start overrating their players now.
Durden is a guy off the Giants practice squad. I don't think he ever played in a game before joining the Pats. Durden is ahead of Tonga and the Athletic thinks we should give Tonga $7.5M a year, $15M total? Farmer, with a Y2 jump, should be ahead of both Durden and Tonga. I would say Tonga was initially surprisingly good, not excellent, and then faded.Tonga was excellent up until his injury. I'd re-sign Chaisson largely for continuities sake. If we don't, we'd have to add two pass rushers in the off-season. I also don't think 17m is that much for a 10 sack edge rusher that plays with the effort Chaisson did, especially in the post-season.
