2026 Draft: WR

When do we take take Hurst manx?? My Favorite two WR's are Ted Hurst love his height and Omar Cooper plays Bigger than his size.
I doubt either make it to our 3rd round pick. Don't forget last year we were picking close to the top of the third and only Williams and Noel made it there from the leading tiers. 12 WRs went off the board before the end of the 3rd round last year and Daniel Jeremiah has 11 in his top 50, although neither Hurst nor Cooper.

Jeremiah's 11 WRs In his top 50:

7. Makai Lemon
9. Carnell Tate
15. Jordyn Tyson
20. Denzel Boston
32. KC Concepcion
36. Antonio Williams
44. Chris Brazzell
45. Malachi Fields
46. Deion Burks
48. Zachariah Branch
50. Chris Bell*

Not on the list:

Ted Hurst
Omar Cooper
Elijah Sarratt
JaKobi Lane
Germie Bernard
Skyler Bell
DeZhaun Stribling
CJ Daniels
Brenen Thompson

There are a LOT of good WRs in this draft, of all different sorts. Some will fall.

I like Bell, Hurst, Cooper and Stribling, myself. Love Branch and Burks as speed force guys, but not top 50. But that doesn't mean I don't think the other guys aren't good prospects.

I would tend to wait on WR until R4 and see who falls, but I would certainly consider Chris Bell at 63/64 and Cooper/Hurst at 95/96, depending on which other positions/players are available.

We're SO snake bitten by that position that I would rather wait until day 3. I have my heart set on Josh Cameron for now. He may not be blazing fast but he makes the contested catches and he's got decent size.

We have an Extra Fourth Rounder that could be potentially moved in a Trade up scenario.

That means some of them will Drop they all won't be Second and Third Rounders. I feel like we lack Size at WR Maye Needs that climb the ladder Guy like Barefoot.

Book it! after the Combine: Chris Bell will be late day 3 selection the earliest. He's not going in the the Second or Early Third. Stop piggy backing my Prospects @mayoclinic I know Great minds think alike but C'mon.

I think I like Ted Hurst more than Tory Horton last year. They're similar but Hurst has more fluidity to his game than Horton who was a bit more linear. And I say this in the context of being a fan of Horton.

Edit: According to Dane Brugler, Hurst is no 1 in the FBS for catches of 20 yards or more (34) over the last two years.

That fits the QB.

The way Ted Hurst is being talked up he's a sure Second Rounder now.

I know I keep repeating myself but I try not to get into projections until we are nearing April. It's going to change 100s of time until then.

Where would you put Kyle Williams in this class?

Good question. I think about the same - 2nd to 3rd - he has more explosion than most others in this class and I've not really seen many better getting off press than him.
