Doofins fans have sore ***es too….a lot of disrespect for Pats from a lot of bitter fans and analysts going on…..Vrabel will have tons of bulletin board material !!!!
Bills fans are arguing about the inch they might have given Maye on the 4th down conversion. Of course, Hooper got that first down clearly on the previous play.

Shawn Smith is the Super Bowl referee. He was the referee for the playoff game against the Texans. No one else from his regular season crew is part of this one, but it is the same exact “all star” crew from the Texans game. Per football zebras, they called 8 penalties total (one declined), a booth review of a TD (the Boutte one - upheld of course) with no other challenge flags thrown. They also got the first Carlton Davis INT correct where his knee was down in bounds.

.p

I get why you feel that way
I think the karma factor. If I was a player on their team I would want white/white for what those colors stood for this year. 9-0 on road. Those are road colors. They are Road Warriors. I’m sure they did not wear them every road game But Most.
Someone put up the graphic last week. They wore blue pants in their road games.

They were horrific against us when it came to PIs.

They allowed the Texans to commit lots of PIs and they called pattycake stuff against us.

According to Copilot:

Seahawks Offensive Line – Key PFF Metrics

CategoryPFF Rank
Run BlockingTop‑10
Pass BlockingBottom‑third
Interior OL (Pass Pro)Major weakness
Tackle PlayClear strength
PFF repeatedly highlighted Seattle’s interior pass protection as the limiting factor, despite improved play overall
Will take that matchup. Barmore and Milton are going to be a tough matchup for them.

Well, when I was looking this info up on the football zebras site, they specifically called out a blatant defensive hold against Charles Woods that went uncalled in the 4th quarter. So let’s say that balanced it out….

Called it pretty ok overall - wonder if they'll want to get on TV more in a Super Bowl though, hope not. (And presumably no weather involved to block their view)

I’ll look for it. I’m pretty sure they did not lose with white/white. And as I stated most of the games

I didn’t hate that crew tbh. For the most part they stayed out of it and while it wasn’t perfect, there was probably just a couple bad calls / no calls for each side. From my recollection a ticky tack pi early on davis, they missed a pi where diggs was clearly interfered with , but they missed a clear defensive hold on us later on and there might have been another bad call or no call in our favor. If theres 8 calls total in this game and its relatively even ill take that any day.

We’re better, but Seattle is the one team that has a DT tandem that rivals ours. Murphy & Williams have been lethal; especially against the run.

4x during the regular season all whites, 1x white and blue pants, 2x blue and blue pants, 1x blue and silver pants.

We wore a lot of blue shirts this year on the road (Miami, Buffalo, Tampa).

We have totally different recollections. I saw 4 inconsistent PI or non-PI calls all going against the Patriots. It got so bad Vrabel was on the verge. Vrabel complained enough that we finally bought a late call.

I thought of it as one of the worst games in terms of bad reffing regarding PI I'd seen in years.

This was the game in which Davis was called for a massive PI that gave Stroud and the Texans big yardage even though he grabbed the WR while Stroud still had the ball.

Mack’s Super Bowl media day is gonna be legendary.

Great Matchup. Seahawks +191 Point Differential. Reg season Pats 170 and only Rams between them at 172. Should be similar to the SEA/LAR games.
PFF and DVOA have SEA #1 defense in league.
All that said they have a similarly easy schedule and took advantage.
-Split with Rams-Good team just like Pats split with Bills tho Rams played less well down stretch
-2-1 vs 49ers both wins against depleted 49ers, lost when 49ers healthy
-Beat Texans when Texans struggling at 2-4
-Beat Jags by 8, Pats would have beat Trevor Lawrence IMO
-Lost to Bucs, Pats won
-Also beat Carolina
-Cards twice, Steelers, Saints, Commanders, Rivers Colts, Titans, Cousins Falcons,

They dominated bad teams and won or lost by 1 score vs good teams. Very Patriot like.

Pats D line is lighting it up. That and Drake getting warm weather could be the difference. Expect a 1 score game. Should be a fun one despite the general public thinking Rams and Seattle was real Suoer Bowl the data says these teams are even.
Best QB will win. Glad not facing Stafford, he makes a ton of elite throws, Darnold is playing well but Stafford is scarier.

Means.. pop should have a huge game and Henry will again be absent along with hooper. It's gonna be diggs, Boutte , pop and hollins . Ocassional big play by williams .

Rams were going with multiple tight end formations and had success against the rams this year. Seahawks have a weakness in covering tight ends.

Not featuring Henry and Hooper together might be a mistake.

Blue on blue loss to Bills.
Blue on silver loss to Raiders
Throwback loss to Steelers

White on white has produced 5 road wins and no losses. With the most important of them. The Broncos

Vrabel called time out, he should have challenged the Hooper spot
