When the field became snow coverage receivers had a difficult time making cuts to get open. Maye went deep left down the sideline to Boutte who was blanketed by Surtain. That pass was toward the open end and the wind in that stadium really played a factor moving the ball around. It looked like Surtain could have picked it.From what I could tell it looked like our receivers were blanketed in man coverage against Denver.
Tough game for Maye. He took sacks, but didn't turn the ball over.
Hollins was one who got free and made life easier for Maye. It seemed like passing was easier moving towards the closed end of the stadium. The same direction that Stidham had his INT when he tested Gonzo.
