2026 Draft: WR

Is Germie Bernard a Deebo Samuel clone?? Which Round do you think he goes?? I am starting to like him.
I think more Jarvis Landry. not super athletic but has the ability to get open. I think he got worse as the season went on after a really good start but how much of that is on him or on Ty Simpson's struggles, I'm not sure.

He's more

Bama QB's are kind of interesting to me; so you know where I'm going with that.

I really like Germie Bernard's game: he's like a RB at WR. I could see McDaniels being very creative with him.

Potential UDFA?

Jalen Walthall, Incarnate Word, 6-1 or 2, 180-190lbs

He's a name that has occasionally cropped up and will be at the Shrine Game. In two seasons, he has 155 receptions for 2,139 yards with only 3 drops.

The one thing that stands out to me on his highlights is his deep ball ball-tracking. That along with only three drops over two seasons and 240 targets intrigues me.

Was on the Feldman freaks list

No. 94 Jalen Walthall, Incarnate Word, wide receiver

NFL scouts are very interested in Walthall. The 6-1 1/2, 198-pound Walthall, who won a Texas state title in the triple jump with a leap of 50 feet, 4 inches, began his college career at Hawaii. In his first season at UIW, he had 70 catches for 1,290 yards and 14 touchdowns last season. Walthall vertical jumped 40 inches this summer and broad jumped 10-7. He’s also hit 22 mph on the GPS and power cleaned 290 pounds.

@manxman2601 @mayoclinic @bakes781 this is it Scouts and I'm not back tracking. Our Second Round Selection Must be WR Chris Bell. We have the option to sit him for an entire year: our WR situation get's very interesting after next season. Having Bell in the wings to start 2027 is prudent: I don't see a Team pulling the trigger in the First or Top of the Second Round for him. Ryan Cowden you listening I know you read this Board.
I got another Bell for you.

This might be my developmental Diggs replacement guy. 6', 205 is a really good size and I love how explosive he is. James Foster does it again.

Tell me that's not a younger, more athletic Stefon Diggs making that play.

1. Settles into the zone
2. Makes himself available for the scrambling QB (we've seen that before <cough> Buffalo<cough>)
3. Catches with perrfect hand technique
4. Breaks a tackle by being low
5. Gains an additional 10-15 yards.

Jeff Caldwell, Cincinnati, 6046, 208, 32 1/3" arms

He only had 32 catches for 532 yards this season and there's no clips on twitter for him and next to nothing on Youtube, however he's getting hyped up for the Shrine game as Dont'e Thornton revisited. However, I just watched Mike Renner talking about his testing numbers being "all-time". We're talking 4.3s or better and 43' vert.

We’ll get to watch him on the Steelers or Raiders or any other team besides the Pats.

Cool info. Thanks. One thing I liked about Boutte from just after they drafted him was his excellent 400m time for an NFL WR. That kind of speed endurance means imho that he can go to the well multiple times in the game, especially at the end. Some of these other speed demons are "one shot muskets."

I had tons of fun with this website last year because of that aspect. Booty had a max speed of 23.09 at 30 yds and at 40 was 23.39, his top speed was 23.77 so at some point between 30 and 40 he ran out of gas. So in my head, thinking like an offensive guy, I am like he is a 35 yard deep ball. He also had a crazy amount of acceleration between 10 and 20 so I was like yep intermediate slants and deep back shoulders where he can sell the go route or post. Doesn't mean it play out like that but I imagine that there is room for this data in play design.

Gadget player??

The arm and hand measurements from the Senior Bowl haven't been released but Todd McShay says that Ja'Kobi Lane's hands measured at 10 3/8". I do like big hands on a receiver.

Malachi Fields had small-ish hands at 8 3/4"

Ted Hurst is intriguing with 33" plus arms according to McShay as did Caleb Douglas of Texas Tech.
