Great job on FA day three! Pleased with the front office?

This off season so far has proven that Kraft is cheap. FA’s will only come here if we seriously outbid other teams because unfortunately we are not a very desirable place right now . In order to get that true #1 WR we need to get into a bidding war and that is what the FO need to do . But of course it won’t happen with the Krafts. It’s about time that people realize that Bill spoke the truth when he said we spent the least because of the stupid Krafts !!!!
Unfortunately, there were no true #1 WRs available in FA.

Pain is a very weird thing. There are severe injuries that don't cause a lot of pain and minor things that hurt like the devil.
Nah, there's no excuse for Jones there. It was pathetic. The leader of your team cannot be carried to the locker room sobbing hysterically because he hurt his ankle.

Crying is a human reaction to emotional overload. Hysterical crying in reaction to this situation is more about Mac's mental toughness than pain tolerance. Unless he learns to harness his inner McEnroe, Mac will never be a respected leader in an NFL locker room.

I sort of saw this coming. I knew they were bad, but I wasn't sure what the perception was outside of this market.

We're obviously finding out- it's not good.
Joaquin Phoenix Reaction GIF

I’m reading between the lines here. Using that gif means you’re letting Kontra back in?

What's funny is that gif is from a movie that's a cult classic in the gay community. I know that @Ian said he pm'd with Kontra late into the night on numerous occasions. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Kontra…need him back

Edit: I do miss his sense of humor he brought to the forum

The biggest mistake in the FA period is for NE not to have strategically driven up the cost of Buffalo’s priority resigning of FA DT DaQuan Jones. He is very effective 1 technique, which we need here.

More important, he excels at stunts with teammate Ed Oliver. This is someone who would have raised Christian Barmore’s play—and the LBers.

At the end of the day, Buffalo was likely hellbent on keeping this player whom I like a lot. He’s a Western NY guy. But we could have made it costlier for ‘em.

Now they’ve added a very exciting receiver who’s played for crap teams and is ready for a resurgence: Curtis Samuel. This is especially important now that flaky prima dona Stefan Diggs is doing his narcissistic thing on social media.

The Bills will continue to be top dog in the AFC East. And we are likely still going to be last.

Chess, Eliot, not checkers.

Did OP ever come back to this thread after embarrassing himself?

We have to have patience, the Front Office was not aware that you can also make trades. Someone informed them and next year they will consider both signings / trades.

Somehow I would feel better if they had added:
WR - Juedy - 5th / 6th round picks
Or
WR - Keenan Allen - 4th round pick
QB - Fields - 2025 6th

Not sure anyone has ever filled OL, QB and WR via a single draft.

If they can fill QB and LT with two top 40 picks, so be it. They can get an elite X receiver next season, assuming the receivers they pick in remaining rounds don't pan out.

This was never going to be a 1 year rebuild.

This situation is so pathetic. It takes an awful situations to have money and still be unable to land players.
Well whatcha gonna do, sit there and whine about it? We tried to keep the dynasty going until the wheels fell off. this is what the wheels falling off looks like. Whining about the past or how things suck now isn't productive. It's going to take time to get the offense moving in a positive direction and it's probably going to come in the short term from players we draft, not FA. We don't get FA privileges until we earn them by being an attractive team.

I think they’ll add a WR, whether it’s Boyd or Williams or someone.

Funny story. When that movie came out, I got my wife a little tipsy one night and she revealed that she thought Russell Crowe was hot, etc.

Fast-forward to now and I give her a hard time about it every so often and throw this photo at her considering I'm still in decent shape and he's, well:

So to start today I first read a 16-page thread debating the value of a 2024 6th round pick versus a 2025 6th round pick.

Then I read 11 pages of this thread.

What's next on the masochist express?
Cutting?

Youse guys are not excited about having the most cap space in the NFL over the next two years and signing Nick Leverett and Armon Watts? What the f@ck is wrong with you? @thecore762 and @203Pat are still telling us how amazing this FA is and they can not wait until the draft starts. BB is fired and we are still being outbid on WRs by teams that have no cap space. Amazing that Kontra and Dingelberry are banned and this has become the Orchids of Asia massage board…

Kontra was banned too? What the heck did he do?

That’s where he lost the team. Soy boy.
Yep. I'm sure it was a part of it. You scream in the moment, that's whatever. You feel pain go "ARGGGHHHH MOTHERF$&@!" nobody's gonna care for a second. This was after he was off the field, and then they had to pick him up and carry him to the locker room, which is bad enough, with that screaming sobbing hysterical thing going on. Awful

It is great to hear from you, you have been missed. I have no idea what happened, I do not get into details. I do not PM with other posters and I have never blocked anyone. All I know is that Kontra and Dingleberry are banned for life which means they are never coming back. Obviously there are a lot of other posters that left when Kontra and Dingle were banned. @Ian has been honest and said he did not want to come home and find drama in his Inbox, so he decided to "life ban" Kontra and Dingle. I guess Kontra and Dingle were a handful. Obviously other Posters aligned with Kontra and Dingle have left as evidenced by the fact that everyone on PatsFans now all sing from the same choir. Joker is gone (God rest his soul), Dingle added a lot of color but he is life banned, Kontra was hilarious but he is life banned, and @Patjew, another great poster with a sense of humor, is rarely seen anymore, and so on. All of the people that added dry humor are gone. I am not sure that Patjew's reduced presence is related.

@Ian made the decision based on the fact that posters were complaining about being challenged by Kontra and Dingle. @Ian chose to side with the complaining team as opposed to Kontra and Dingle, to reduce the drama. It is not a decision that I would have made, but it is Ian's website and he was tired of complaining PMs. To Ian's credit, he has been honest about his decision to issue life bans to reduce drama in his personal PMs. I noted to Ian almost a year ago that he was chosing sides, instead of letting the two sides work it out themselves, but by his own admission, the drama was too great for him.

You can see that PatFans now mostly sing from the same hynmal. @archstanton543, who posts more dislike emojis than the rest of board combined, started a thread called, "The Negativity In This Town Sucks (And It Stinks)", and he is the most negative poster on the PatsFans. Absolutely hilarious, but it gets better. If you look at Archstanton's initial post there are 35 reponses, with 30 positive reponses. @archstanton543 is the most negative poster on PatsFans, and since @Ian banned Knotra and Dingle and friends, Archstanton543 now gets a 86% positive rating talking about "negativity" by other Patriots fans. It is impossible to make this stuff up. That is what PatsFans has become, but Ian can go home at night and there is no drama in his PMs. I would have thought there were alternative ways to deal with drama, but Ian disagrees, and he owns the website, so he life banned Kontra and Dingle. I have asked @Ian to reconsider, but he replies with a long description of how patient and understanding he is as a person, how tired and over worked he is, and it is not possible to be lenient.

If you object, you will be labelled with all kinds of names. Believe me, I have objected and I have been pilloried, but it really is not a big deal. It is only on an anonymous website. I have been called, among other names, the King of the BB fan club, all because I think PatsFans is funner with dry humor and descent. Be carelful, if enough posters complains about you, who knows what will happen. ;)
