some of the tight ends in this draft might turn into servicable starters but if the goal is to find that elite tight end, he just doesnt exist in this draft (most likely)

Clearly Belichick preferred Dugger over Delpit and Winfield.

I suppose one option would have been to pass over Dugger, take a higher regarded player, than hope that Dugger, Ashtyn Davis or Chinn were around at the early 3rd.

But then you couldn't trade up for Uche.

Nah I actually like what they've done. Mims is exactly the type of WR Darnold needs.

Decent value on the rest imo. They're so messed up tho it's not funny.

I don’t understand why people are freaking out about TE? Cole Kmet is the only one off the board so it’s falling nicely. No need to reach if there are better players available

The Jets and Dolphins are making lots of sensible picks. They may not pan out, but they make sense.

I specifically stated hes not uncuttable. I never used the word lock, or even likely to make the roster.

I said that Sanu, Harry, and Edelman are locks. Meyers has a good shot. With Slater, that's 5 guys. As such, I don't see us double dipping at WR. 1 rookie plus those 5 likely comprise the receiving Corp, leaving Olszewski, Lee, and Byrd on the outside looking in.

I think Trautman and Bryant are only two left that are dynamic and top prospects....since this has to be one of our primary needs....hope they go for one of these two
