Hope you're right, but Buffalo is the much better team at this point. I think 2020 will be a down year before the team gets back on the right track in 2021 with much more cap room.

I don’t think we will.... Brady is 43 and BB is in rebuild mode. I can’t expect either to excel in 2020. It’s like saying Lennon & McCartney were losers in the 70s for not having hits as great as they had in the 60s.

For real though - not sure if anyone else noticed this but in his last conference call Belichick referred to Stidham as "Stid". I thought that was interesting that he was using a nickname for him.

Yes I know Skip Bayless also made a big deal out of this, I don't think it's monumental but I do think it is noteworthy. I can't recall Bill ever calling Tom "Tommy" or any other nickname.

I used to feel like if the pats were out of contention I would pull for the bucs. Now im just kind of hoping they fail miserably

Yeah, the same Gronk who came up HUGE in the AFCCG in Arrowhead against the Chiefs on the monster final driven coverting 3rd and 10s and huge catches throughout the game. The same Gronk with 2 monster catches in the game winning drive in the Superbowl including the signature catch of the game at the 2 yard line before opening the hole in the next snap for the running TD.

There were reports of Stidham making great improvements late into the season. Belichick liking him is a fantastic sign.

Yeah that's really what I am curious about - how much does Belichick like Stidham? My feeling is that he wants to give him a shot during camp at the starting job but will probably also still give him some competition in the draft. Maybe a guy like Eason or Morgan, or Hurts if he falls a bit.

Other players have already left Gronk is just another. He was not coming back here. Might as well move on. It is possible that after last season he felt that
some changes were needed on the offensive side of the ball. He has done this before.He knows what he is doing. But excuse me for saying he is in rebuild mode. My appologies. I forgot free thought nor free speech is welcome in this forum.

I'd certainly hope he does. He let the GOAT walk away to start him this season. What will be hilarious on here is if he drafts someone like Love late in the first round.

He was pissed for being underpaid DURING the season. He he was given very steep incentivization clauses that he couldn't hit.
