I hope the Bucs lose every game they play. I’m willing to bet a lot of these “So excited I can root for an NFC team now” people have zero actual ties to New England. Probably cheer for the Patriots and whatever team LeBron is playing for this week.

49ers are the big losers in this. Brady wanted to go there, but they declined....again. They also missed out on a Gronk-Kittle team up.

49ers worst nightmare is facing them in the playoffs. That will make Shanahan and Lynch sweat.

Pats aren’t playing the Bucs this year and we probably won’t even make the playoffs so Pats fans should feel free to root for the Bucs (Brady) to win the Super Bowl. No conflict is going to arise beyond maybe some random meaningless SNF game two seasons from now.

Lived there for cumulatively 19 years (although not a native).

This attitude was part of the reason (along with weather and Real Estate prices) I couldn't wait to get out.

They would have been idiots for trading a 28yr old JG over the two bookend years of Brady's career.

You can hold onto Gronk and tell his childish ass along with Tampa to go pound sand unless we get what we ask for. That's literally leverage.

And where do we get 12 mil in cap space? All he has to do is sign his un-retirement papers and the Pat's either cut him with a huge cap hit, keep him and slice and dice the cap space and boom sorry not feeling it.

The Pat's really didn't have any leverage from the way I see it. A 4th kinda sucks, but given the circumstances it's probably fair.

they can if they both reach the superbowl, and there are going to be games where rooting for the bucs will help that pats for a playoff position, and preseason schedule has not been released, dont be surprised if all is open, they dont play week 3 (in preseason)
