Reportedly Haslam wants Josh and Depodesta wants Stefanski. This will be a measure of how much power Haslam wields. If this was the Cowboys and Jerry Jones, Mrs McD would already be picking out new drapes.

He won 6 SB’s. But he sucks. IncredibleThis is such bullsh*t. They draft at the end of every round every year but are still the most successful franchise in football history. Just because his picks don’t line up with the binkies on this board doesn’t es not mean they draft poorly, and every long term study of league drafting has them at the top.
It’s just stupid that people suggest Brady will leave because he wants to go to a team with a better chance to win.My guess is Bill isn’t crying over any of this.
But, but, but . . . they cheat, it’s all Brady, they’re lucky, blah, blah, blah.
McDaniels is considered to be one of those at the top of the O.C. ladder, and his play calling is often used to demonstrate "how to" to viewers. But do keep prattling on.

I chalk it up to entitlement derangement syndrome.

No we don’t.You said brady would retire before he leaves.
We now know that he isnt retiring next year. Period.
He will choose the patriots. The only way he leaves us if Belichick goes insane. If brady leaves, he isnt going to choose a team that doesnt gave weapons so yea, he will choose a team that gives him the best chance to win.
Wether or not that's HIS decision is beyond any factual evidence anyone currently has.
Really?
Let's say that Josh leaves, Thuney moves on. Devein retires, and Andrews retires. The bionic man says that he would like to retire, but will play of Brady comes back.
Sure, the patriots would have a chance. Belichick will make sure that the defense is close to what it was in 2019. But, make no mistake, Brady WILL get beat up if he stays (even if Develin and Andrews are back). Maybe, Brady will have only two more injuries before the playoffs. Is it really reasonable to expect that Bill will bring in 2 TE's, 2 WR's and 2 OL's (and perhaps a FB)?

Yes, Brady wants a chance to win another SB in the next 2-3 seasons. He also would like to be able to walk when he retires.
Is it possible that there are teams with much better offenses for Brady to lead, where Brady will be MUCH better protected? Might Brady prefer on of these teams? I think so; it certainly is a reasonable possibility for Brady to consider.
So you are one of those guys that thinks the patriots are a team that isn’t going to build a competitive roster and what they have in March is all they sill have in September? I’ll make note of that but you should go some patriots history research.Really?

They don't need to totally rebuild the offense
They might, which is his point. They need
2 TEs
4 WRs
LG
C
Swing OT
FB
That's 8 of 11 positions, not counting the Brady situation. Now, if you want to try arguing in favor of the stiffs currently scheduled to be under contract at those positions, you're welcome to do so. It's one hell of an uphill battle, but maybe you're up to the task. Just remember to include his hypos about Develin, Thuney, and Andrews.
