Gunner Olszewski - 50 (61%)

Shouldn't be any real loss...If Bill does some homework and signs an actual, professional FB.

I noticed you couldn't be bothered to mention any of these "professional FBs" that are available..

new punter needs ot learn how to hold for place kicks, thats not the first time hes had laces in.

Ravens coming up in a few games from now. Patriots WRs better be healthy and ready...
I'm not convinced the Ravens are going to be as tough as we anticipated a few weeks ago. They looked great the first two games, dropped two, and then barely beat a Steeler team starting a backup. They will also be coming off a bye where the rust factor might play a role.

I'm expecting -- fingers crossed -- that we can manage 9-0 before going 2-2 against the Eagles, Cowboys, Texans, and Chiefs. Then we win against the woeful Bengals and Dolphins, and have a likely win against Buffalo in Foxboro. That puts us at 14-2 with the number one seed unless Kansas City goes on a major roll. Even if the offense gets even worse due to injuries, we should still manage 12-4 with this schedule.

My actual words were "good" as I think the NEP are the only elite D in the NFL right now. BUF and CHI seem to be a notch below us. SF seems to have something good going....

With that said, I think if we are healthy and we get our problems sorted out this O can put up at least 3 offensive TDs vs BUF - which to your point should be enough.

The real question is vs a team like KC. If KC can put up 28 vs our D, can we score more than 28 vs their D? I think so but sometimes s**t happens.

We matchup very well against their strength. And our weak unit matches up very well against their weak unit.

In other words I don’t think their offense is a great as our defense and I also think our offense doesn’t suck as much as their defense.

Wynn and Harry (or Develin) are eligible for the Baltimore game.

Baltimore's not gonna be that tough, their defense really isn't good this year. They can run the ball well but they won't be able to pass at all on us, Lamar Jackson has also struggled since he stopped playing high school level teams. I don't think the first hard game comes until @ Philly after the bye followed by 3 tougher games - DAL, @ HOU, KC.

Of course anything can happen but Id be pretty shocked if we're not 9-0 heading into the bye.

Ravens have one of the worst defenses in football.

Excuse me if I missed it, I tend to only read the last page when I come back to a thread, but I have a question.

On the KVN TD reversal, how was it ruled?

The turn-over is reviewed first? The TD is reviewed second? Where was the OB?

Thanks for any insight.

Yes, the turnover is reviewed first. It was found to be good.
Then the TD is reviewed. He wasn't out of bounds. I think the official thought he stepped out, prior to lunging, but he hadn't. The call of a TD was upheld.

Guys, it’s still October. Haven’t you seen this movie like 15-20 times by now???? We’ll be fine..

In general I agree but there have been plenty of years when the injuries piled up enough to keep a ring out of grasp, and we seem to inch closer to that territory every week.

As far as play goes, there's not much if anything to complain about since we're undefeated. I do worry that eventually this team will reach its 2015-esque injury breaking point and start dropping games. That team was "our best team ever" until it wasn't.

It was ruled OOB at the 2 - not a TD.

However, because it was a turnover the play had to be reviewed.

Like all reviews, the play is reviewed *in its entirety* and not just for the specific element under review.

Doing that, they saw that KVN never went OOB with the ball (they saw - and announced - that the only thing he touched OOB was the NYG player (and OOB-ness doesn’t “conduct” to a ballcarrier, only a loose ball)) and so changed the spot from OOB at the 2 to a TD.

Thanks, I was a bit confused. Some reason I had it in my head that it was reversed!

It was reversed since originally the ball was spotted at the 2.

Had EEI on yesterday afternoon (I know, I know) and in the closing seconds going in to a commercial break, the announcer said something along the lines of. "Can't believe this. The Patriots are 6 and 0 and we are miserable!"
