Literally maybe. In the real world where you play for 60 minutes there were many, many more reasons for this loss.

Pats have has some bad looking losses this year. And their road struggles are legit. I think the constant mental errors they make are the most frustrating.

Which will do no good when you don't have the talent or the players.

Two of the hugest errors in BB and TB history--and both in one game. BB's Gronk defense and TB's totally uncharacteristic (a high school error) lapse on 3rd down and goal.

I really wanted us to run the ball on 4th down and goal to put Miami on the two yard line with about 17 seconds to go. This was the safer play. I was opposed to the field goal--it could be blocked etc the etc turned out to be the key.

I fully supported the run-run-run FG at the end because surely our defense couldn't commit the most monumental choke job imaginable in 15 seconds. But they did.

It was a terrible decision to put Gronk back there instead of Josh Gordon. It wasn't going to be a jump ball.

Honestly don't even know what to say. The missed XP, missed FG, rookie mistake by Brady at the end of the half, horrible tackling, Gronk out there in a non hail mary play. I just don't understand what happened.

It’s a crappy feeling to lose this way but I think people are overreacting. Handle Pittsburgh next week as they usually do, take care of business at home against the Bills and the Jets the next two weeks and you’ve got the 2 seed locked up, so you still get a bye for sure. KC could still drop but not likely. However, they’re showing they’re not invincible, so no guarantees NE ends up having to go to KC. And even if they do, they’ve beaten KC once before. It’s not like the season is over. Far from it.

It was an ulgy loss. No excuses. Total team, coaches and players this is on you.

Next week Pittsburgh. Road game.

Why not put Gordon back instead of Gronk.

Sure, I'll be over it by tomorrow (it's 10 pm anyway). But that loss just felt so unnecessary.

I mean, they're going to make the playoffs and then it's just a series of one game seasons, but ideally you want three one game seasons at home. Regular season losses don't mean anything come playoff time and no team is perfect, but this didn't help.
