Gronk not at practice today

Guess an ilness is going around but also ankle/back issues could be it. His last presser was..weird.

Not sure if he retires soon or not but I wouldn't be surprised...just MO

I’m officially worried. He hasn’t looked right for a while now and he looked outright depressed in his press conference.

Won't be the least bit surprised if he retires after this season.

I think he has missed a couple of practices this week and otgers had limited time.

We need him in the GB game.

He's been listed on the report with an ankle as well as a back. With the way he's been moving though, I think it's the ankle that's causing him more trouble

Sit him down, rest, heal. Bring him back for the finals 2 games to get ready for the playoffs.

He hasn't been right at all. He looks like he's running in mud out there and because of that, defenses have been able to man up on him with single coverage and be successful. If it's the ankle that's bothering him more, the best way to get better for a lot of ankle injuries is rest. I'd say if that's the case, he needs to be shut down for the Fappers and Tits games and maybe even the Jets game after the bye week. The team needs him to be healthy for the playoffs and he's not going to do that by absorbing punishment game after game after game to those trouble areas by teams that make the Patriots their Super Bowls.

While I don't disagree that Gronk hasn't looked like vintage Gronk, he's still been a top 5 TE this year by just about every stat and grading metric. Crazy. He's set the bar so high for himself.

I said it before we should of sat him on Monday, while not ideal we can win without em temporarily, I mean we put up 38 on Chicago, I know it because of the money and him wanting to help the team out but at this point it's time to start thinking long term, keep him out until after the bye week and limit his reps until the playoffs, unleash the beast in January but money talks.

So he won't be doing any TB12 commercials?

Rest him as long as you need to. Looking at the schedule i dont see many teams left if any that im not still super confident with Edelman, Gordon , white and hogan. Especially if michel comes back soon.

The playoffs on the other hand , we need gronk to be Gronk.
