Ha.You must not want him too bad. I think Az or Balt will take him before 23.
Well my want for any QB only goes so far so long as TB12 still plays.

I like Jackson at #23, Rudolph at #31, White at #63 (I think that's our last 2nd round pick ?) or a later shot in the mid rounds.Ha.

2018 NFL Draft: Patriots reportedly 'won't mortgage' picks to move up for a quarterback
Thank God. We can draft a QB like Mason Rudolph in the 2nd Round or Mike White in the 4th Round.
So the report says they won't mortgage picks to move up. So... they're gonna mortgage the picks to move up.
I've learned one thing about this team under BB's leadership: he's not gonna tip his hand to anyone.
The draft bunker is sealed shut. You ain't getting in there with a thermobaric weapon, never mind a text or phone call. The only thing getting out is what BB wants to be out.
and to be clear... I don't think they'll move up for one of the top 4 QBs.

The problem is if Bill wants to bait other teams into reaching for QBs, a contrary report that the pats won’t move up doesn’t help. One of those reports has to be true...
Why? They could move up, move down, stand pat, trade for futures. None of these media clowns knows what Belichick will do.
Because teams likes the Jetes will be more likely to think that Bill is up to his tricks with both reports...

DE, LB, DE, LBAfter i heard about the Garcia news and now this,i feel comfortable that we take 4 defenders with our first 4 picks and rebuild our defense for the next years.
My analysis from you is that you have no interest in Jackson.I want Jackson. Kid can fly and he can be groomed with no rush to play. I wouldn't use 23 on him but if he's still there at 31 things get interesting. My ideal would be to get an LB and DE in the first then get Jackson at 43 or trade up slightly to get him. And a TE at 63.
As I understand your analysis, we draft a 6th rounder in 2000 and kept 4 QB's on the roster, so we shouldn't draft a Qb until the 6th and see if we cn get another franchise QB at the end of the 6th. After all, it worked once.It amazes me to see how clueless some of the media can be about BB. This is a guy who snagged a HoF/GOA QB with a 199th pick. Yet somehow someone thinks BB would actually garner his picks to move up to get Josh Rosen or whoever. Especially when considering needs in the trenches, both sides of the ball. I wouldn't be surprised if BB didn't get a QB at all. Or if he does it will be with the 6th or 7th.

Mortgage is wrong term. It's parlay. Dumb sportswriters2018 NFL Draft: Patriots reportedly 'won't mortgage' picks to move up for a quarterback
