Patterson has come full circle. We passed on drafting him, instead trade back with minny to select Jamie Collins, Logan Ryan and also netting Blount with another pick they gave us.

Didn’t Crabtree get cut ? Would’ve rather they signed him.

Next to zero expectations for him as a WR though.

This is a trend I notice a lot with some of the guys that have come here.

Different roles. Patterson is a ST maven. Maybe BB believes he can earn a role on offense as well. Crabtree had to cost way more than Patterson in salary.

Even if he's used as a decoy on end of rounds he's a major asset. Defenses have to account for his speed. It should leave tons of green open space, on the opposite side.
