No way he ends up here, doubt he's willing to take a below market deal....cuz below market seems too be all the pats do for offensive FA...

You say that like it’s a bad thing.

Maybe he could do what Fitzgerald did and move to the inside. Larry has been a stud on the inside for AZ. Maybe we could catch a little of that magic here.

People...if we want star talent, we need to fork up the money.

No star player is going to take a discount to come here like we want

You should let Bill know that. I have a red phone with his name on a piece of tape stuck to the back of the receiver if you need to use it. It’s how I pass along all of my unfailingly brilliant insight.

Is Crabtree any good? Don’t know much about the guy

Watched tape of Nelson and this guy has lost 3 steps and is gun shy about taking hits!

I’m pretty sure vea could run a better 40 time than this guy.

Next!

Where’s this tape at

Josh Gordon. Cheap 1 year remaining ($1.5m or less I believe), then an RFA. Value contracts on offense seem to be Bill's approach for the most part. An elite talent like Gordon at that price would be the epitome of value. He'd makes up for whatever spark they lost with Lewis and Amendola while still leaving lots of cap space to improve the defense.

They expressed interest in Martavis Bryant last off-season. Similar risk.

Well, that took long.

If Nelson would accept a deal in the range of 4–4.5m a year, sign his ass up. I can’t see us going much higher than another 500k or million per year. Keep in mind these are just rough guesses, but I think he could still be productive at that price.

I don't want Nelson at all. Please sign with raiders.

Cant even protect his own jewlery... would not trust him to protect a football..

But he has hands :D

For what role though ? We need a slot guy as insurance for Edelman being a Ghost of himself and not another player in the mold of Britt/MM/Hogan..

I just fail to see the place on the roster for Nelson given who we already have.

Everyone always claims the big upside if there is something still left in those big name players that get released each offseason but there rarely is.
