Just to be clear, none of this is about what I
want. I'm just kicking around roster moves that the Pats might make and pertinent considerations while addressing those who appear to think that Grissom has no value to the 53-man roster whatsoever.

@mcmurtry86 pointed out, King is a gunner who's also tied for 3rd in ST tackles (with Bademosi) behind Ebner and Bolden. Marsh, Flowers and Grissom have zero ST tackles because they play different (though very valuable) roles on the coverage units.
It's not that I think Grissom is expendable. Far from it. I think that he may be somewhat more likely than King to clear waivers back to the PS, though.
I also don't think that moving a WR up from the PS is something the Pats
should do, just that they might be considering it, depending on what
they know about how long Hogan is likely to be out. And, I'd guess that - IF they want a 4th WR active on gameday (besides Slater) - they'd dip into the PS before picking up an SFA with no experience in the system.
