    I never said Brees was the best QB in the league. He does throw picks. The offense is not conservative. He is allowed to take several chances (back shoulder throws, jump ball, etc) because he has trust in his abilities and more importantly, his receiver's. Payton does not discourage this...

    100% agree. However, when comparing this years offensive players, if the Pats are individually better, than they would have the best offense (statistically) in the league.
