Keep 3 and somehow convince the Cardinals to trade 4 to the Pats. Houston did something similar and it jump started their rebuild. Maye and MHJ would be a tremendous haul. Due to needing a LT I'm not sure how smart/feasible it is to do this. However, this would really power up the offense.
MHJ should be the pick. However I can't say Daniels or Maye would be a terrible mistake, even if it doesn't work. The logic was sound and they took the best player available at the most important position. The best available at 3 would clearly be Harrison, however QB is the most important...
The offense would be underwhelming for an expansion team. I don't think I've seen an offense devoid of talent like that in a long time. Defense is definitely top 10.
Pats are irrelevant. Going to be a few years before people care about them again. They seem okay with carrying over 30 million or so in cap room. Good offseason for the Krafts thats for sure
Pats aren't giving Brisett 8 million to sit on the bench for Fields. Fields is not good except in fantasy football. If he was good the Bears would be drafting MHJ #1. They would also be able to trade him for multiple firsts instead of maybe getting a 4th.
We hear about this stuff often in the NBA and NFL. People just don't like cold weather to start and then other factors come into play. I see the comparisons with Lonzo, however, Lonzo turned out fine (not worth the number 2 overall pick but decent) until the career ending injury.
Trent Brown has shown that if he goes to a crappy team his attitude and work ethic will reflect as such. The only one to really get anything great out of him was coach Scar.
Not for nothing but it already has been a multi year rebuild. If they don't extend Barmore and just roll the cap that would be awful. You can't let that guy walk or piss him off by franchise tagging him.
