BREAKING NEWS: Alleman Finds a New Home
by Adam Caplan of ScoutNFLNetwork.com, August 31, 2008 at 1:24pm ET

Andy Alleman Profile

Andy Alleman was one of the surprise cuts on roster cut down weekend.

Less than 24 hours he found a new home.

Alleman was claimed by the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, Scout Rumor Central has learned.

The former third-round pick of the New Orleans Saints from the 2007 draft is slated to play guard for Miami.

The New England Patriots and New York Jets also put in waiver claims for Alleman.

Apparently this guy was highly desirable to all within the Parcells coaching tree.

the dolphins said they would be really active on the waivers as they get first claim.

And they have - they've already claimed Alleman, T Nate Garner, and WR Brandon London off waivers today.

They need all of the help that they can get. We only need one or two players. The Pats might have to wait until after some of these players clear waivers to get what they need.
