iam not but PFT is implying by taking tom's quotes and then running to sharpe asking for a response . It seems brady is getting more open about his distaste for former players in the media just like he said espn is now like mtv during the taping stuff..

The article was about contreversy between Sharpe and Brady and you threw this comment in which had me thinking when I went to open up the PFT article there was going to be some bogus story about contreversy between BB and Tom.

There are hundreds of fans who watched that game that would have some controversy with Sharpe and the rest of his buddies for the crap that they said that night. I had to put my damn TV on mute after half time.
They were all HORRIBLE. They are just ticked off that an athelete of Tom Brady's caliber FINALLY told them about themselves.
That being said. I'm not sure what the Big Deal is. Brady disagreed with Sharpe's opinion. Sharpe took issue with it. So what? They are both American citizens, and they have the right to have their own individual opinions. Is it worthy of space on PFT? Jeez, I expected better than that from Florio. Boy when that Tom Brady speaks, everybody listens. There is a future in politics for this young man.

i guess my quote was off with what PFT wrote but i didnt mean it that way as BB and tom have a controversy...sorry for the confusion..it was just my 2 cents to what i read on PFT. BB has complemented players 2 hours before he cut them. If BB cuts Matt Tom is not going to look the fool, even if Sharpe tries to make it look that way.

The only possible controversy that could occur is if Tom firmly thinks Matt should be given more time and BB cuts him against Tom's recommendation. But at most that would be a short argument in private.

If Matt is cut, Tom will say something to the effect of, "It wasn't my decision to make. I respect the decision of BB. Matt Cassel is good QB that unfortunately was not a good fit for this team. I expect and hope he find an spot on another team where I am sure he will flourish. Hopefully, not the Bills, Jets or Dolphins, I wouldn't want to have to face him twice a year."

The headline on PFT grabs attention, but there's not much to the actual story. TB makes a statement and backs up his viewpoint with logical reasoning, and then Sharpe does the same thing. The only controversy is in the use of the word in the headline in my opinion. Controversy creates interest, which results in more readers, which leads to higher ad rates and a bigger payday. No controversy generates little interest, which leads to less page views, unsatisfied advertisers, and a smaller paycheck for Florio.
