As the article states, size is the primary issue here. At 5'6", 160 or 170, presuming he can somehow add 10 pounds without losing his incredible speed, he'd still get killed in the NFL.

Cleveland had a tiny guy like that in the 80's maybe, I think his name was Gerald "Ice Cube" McNeil. About 5'5" and 150, and hard to get a hand on as a KO returner.

The bad thing is if he ever does take a hit then you wonder how long he'd last. Straight line speed is overrated, too. If he has good footwork and speed in and out of cuts, though, he could find a role.

Mc Neil was damn impressive. I agree about this guy though. The hits are even harder these days and one can't imagine him doing anything more than returning. I'd stick to sprinting if I were him.

Darren Sproles is about the same size as this guy and he has done very well for himself. Yes, Sproles has the knee injury, but I don't believe it was from a hit.

At Auburn, years ago, a couple of scouts said that Bo Jackson ran a 4.0.

I've never seen anybody run like Jackson.

Any time you hear that a player has run faster than a 4.2, it's 99% guaranteed to be BS. There are loads of rumors with Bo Jackson, but none have ever been confirmed. It would be very, very interesting to see what time Holliday would put up at a combine, though.

My guess is Hobbs, Welker, and Maroney will only be pinch hitting at PR and KR this season.
