Both cities always plan the victory parade ahead. Since it usually happens days after you don't want to start throwing it together at the last minute. It's not unusual or presumptuous. I'm sure our military has plans to invade Canada. But, I don't see it happening.

Yeah, as Michael said, this won't do it as bulletin board material... whether its a victory parade or a special thanks to the runners up (and Giants fans SHOULD come out to applaud this team just for getting to the Super Bowl) you've got to plan this in advance.

One has to wonder, in the event that they win, whether or not there could be any impact on the primary in New York that day - and whether it would hurt NY's Senator who happens to be running for President and is counting on NY's electoral votes...

But I'll let the guys in the Political thread hash that out. I'm too focused on football these days... and besides, as you might guess, I'm undecided!

Wasn't the difference there that the Eagles were somehow involved in the planning making it a lot like the whole 'Steelers already have their hotel rooms booked in Jacksonville.' deal?
