My only point is that we have no idea whether taking a vacation after a long season during the bye, even after slowing down towards the end of the season, is more or less advantageous than studying film of 3 possible opponents during that time.

Yeah, and all I said was that, given the same circumstances and body of work, I wouldn't be comfortable knowing that my QB was taking a vacation out of the country before a playoff game instead of preparing his ass off for it.

By odd chance I've actually flown from Dallas to Cancun. It's 1000+ miles, 2 1/2 hours.

My biggest problem with Romo doing what he did, if I am a Dallas fan, is this: TO is either not going to play or is going to be hobbled. You and your team have not looked good since he went down. Terry Glenn hasn't played all year, but might have to play a big part in the game. Shouldn't Romo be working with Glenn to get their timing down? I understand it is a long season and everyone needs a break, but there are some unique circumstances here that could spell the end of your season if you don't get it straightened out. You can go on vaca with your girlfriend in a couple of weeks no matter what happens.
