OL 2026

Yes I admitted I didn't know a random fact. That's the difference between us. You never admit you are wrong, even though a huge percentage of your posts are incorrect.
When I’m wrong I admit it. It’s up to you or someone else to point out where I was wrong. “Because I said so” is not an argument. A quarter of the league isn’t “an outlier,” just because it’s an uncomfortable truth or it shatters your take.

I can provide numerous examples in the past year of me saying I was wrong.
And what does not knowing a quarter of the league was undrafted have to do with how many rookie UFA's have meaningful snaps a season? If you're not aware of this, does that mean you know nothing else about a subject?
Because nobody mentioned “meaningful snaps as a rookie,” until you moved the goalposts. We were specifically discussing backup positions… depth.

Backups don’t play unless the starter gets hurt, and they play meaningful snaps on special teams until that point… which is still playing and contributing. The definition of the job is literally in the name… backup.

Meaningful snaps as a rookie is all that matters from the conversation because we were talking about depth THIS YEAR and you keep referring to rookie UFA's as being depth.

What had no relevance to that conversation was how many UFA's are on NFL rosters as veterans.

BTW were you wrong about the number of rookie UFA's who are contributors like Ponder?

The conversation in question was depth.

Depth = backups

Special teams snaps are meaningful, they can swing the outcome of an entire game.

When you dismiss backup ILB’s because they’re undrafted when both of our starting ILB’s went undrafted it doesn’t make you look knowledgeable… I can tell you that. And it’s pretty relevant.

No, because I included special teams, practice reps and just being there ready to go and competent as contributing.

You pretended the number of defensive snaps played was the only barometer for depth… which makes no sense.

Barry Sanders sat on the bench behind Thurman Thomas at Oklahoma State and only returned kicks… was he poor depth? Laughable…

The conversation was about INSIDE LINEBACKER depth. That was it. Special teams were clearly marked as not being included.

The number of defensive snaps played is all that is relevant to who is backing up our linebackers on the field.

All you have left is to throw around meaningless nuggets. What's laughable is that somehow you finish with Barry Sanders and Thurman Munson college careers as relating to this discussion.

On that thought, you can have the last word because the nonsense you're throwing out makes me think you're just putting me on.
