Boutte available for trade?

Bring Diggs back. He’s better than Bout
Will Diggs add as much value as he will cost? I suspect not.

And to be blunt, I don't think that Bourre is even relevant. I think that it is a matter of time until he is traded, even if that time is after Game 1.

Unless an unexpected offer arises, we may wait until training camp to trade him. The inevitable injury to some team’s key player will undoubtedly happen. As a result, a team may be forced to part with a higher pick than originally intended; especially if said player is an impact player/team has high expectations for their season.

No, it makes players who are more deserving more difficult to pay.

The NFL would've been a lot better off adopting an NBA style cap where players have to hit certain accomplishments in order to get x amount of money. You can't pay guys top money just because you feel like it. A perfect example is a guy like Robert Hunt who nobody has ever heard of when he made top G money. It's been 2 years and it's already being talked about as a massive mistake. Blunders like this make better players value skyrocket forcing teams to make tough decisions.

I've been seeing this bad trend for quite some time now and it's a major reason why the overall product of the NFL isn't what it was 15+ years ago.

The Nazi Basset-Ball Ass-ociation's salary cap is Completely Indecipherable. Want nothing whatsoever to do it.

I haven't watched a basketball game in a few years now. It's quite sad because I grew in the 90's and I loved the game.

Nothing can ever replace 90s NBA.. absolutely best Era I grew up on! However as far as our Patriots.. take a look at the patiots top 3 WRs in 2007& top projected WRs entering camp 2026..

Someone perhaps Vrabel himself must have really had a long talk with Boutte.. he could have done stallworth season like 2007... Under 700 yards and still see a decent contract somewhere.. however he needs this season in order to capitalize on a contract.

Good points. Also have to take into account the millionaires tax in my state. Massachusetts applied this tax a few years ago. So in saying that it's advantageous for Boutte to continue to walk the walk guys an important part of the offense and he has a role here.. even if he sees less targets he has a role here.
IIRC teams can waive fines for players on their rookie deals, but not for veterans. And in any case he and Douglas are both earning about $3.6M this yea

Millionaires' tax.
NEP are welcome to move to Southern NH, Bears style. Toll revenue would be mega.
Won't happen for obvious invested infrastructure reasons. And traffic would NOT be welcome

Wolf's been here since 2021 and held the most power in personnel, he also drafted Mac Jones in the first who stunk.

Without an actual football expert next to him like Vrabel or BB, Wolf is a rudderless ship. We saw Wolf alone in 2024.

Bill Belichick drafted Mac Jones, period. The idea that Wolf him drafted is pure delusion, No one ever overruled Belichick on any player at any position, let alone at quarterback,

Also.. I'm happy to see Boutte committed. I'm sure MV and Josh have to be saying to each other with AJ, Romeo and Boutte we stand to have a dam good 3 WR set. Then mixing in Williams and Hollins as well. The offense has the makings to be top 5 in the NFL.
