Greed. Just unadulterated greed.

BTW Saudi blood money and states still giving BILLIONS! (Tennessee) for stadiums i have a large amount of hate for the nfl.

The ******** with Kansas city moving and Chicago thinking about it is outrageous.

**** player safety an I right? Once Goodell and the owners bulletproofed themselves from concussion lawsuits they said have football every night.

Saturating the market isn't going to help. More international games aren't going to help. Theres no longer term plan for stability.

Personally would love to see them play a game on Christmas morning, especially if they can get those cutaway shots of the players' kids opening presents alone.

Not necessary.

Enough already!

There is going to be a point of diminishing returns for the NFL. The product is going to be so watered down that people will eventually stop watching.
Did you recycle this post?

I seem to remember folks saying this for the last 30 years at least.

Honestly, **** this league. Games should be played on Saturdays and Sundays. End of list.

Last season was the second HIGHEST viewership EVAH.

No, NFL games should NOT be played on SAT until the college season is over.

Yes, but you'll only be able to watch it on TikTok.

I am not saying immediately or even soon, but eventually it could cause burnout with a crap product. Don't forget a few years ago, ratings started to decline for the NFL. They rebounded in the last two years.

Yes, but also look at the changing media landscape. There's a war on among streaming services right now and the biggest draw is still NFL. They all want NFL to remain relevant and try to keep people subscribed. That's why the NFL is making all these smaller packages that can go on Amazon, Netflix, ESPN/Disney, Fox, CBS/Paramount+, NBC/Peacock. Even if ratings decline, the expectation is that the streamers will continue to pay big money for the rights. With the change in ownership of CBS/Paramount, the rights for CBS's package is going to come up very soon, and that will bring in even more money.

With all due respect...... people have been saying this for 20 years and it isn't even remotely close to happening.

They are legally forbidden from Saturdays - and Friday nights - from something like the 2nd week in September to the first week in December (I may not have the exact start/end dates right, but the above point stands)

Off two days rest??
