They don’t call Boston the City of Champions for nothing. We always expect to win and we know our sports.
Personally I am extremely proud of this team. We lost, but this team played hard all year to the final whistle.
Exceeded all my expectations by a mile. This one hurt. But the Pride and Joy has been rekindled.
Where just getting started

I am too. I’m happy we got to witness another Patriots Super Bowl so for that I want to thank Vrabel, Maye and Kraft. Wish we won but we can’t win them all. Can’t ever predict when we’ll go back so if this ends up being the last one for a decade or two then I’m at peace with it. We have gotten so much as a fanbase and this loss doesn’t change the fact that this is the best franchise in modern NFL history.

I love this team, disappointing end with the offense’s performance. The league is on notice, will be back soon.

Great post. I think many of us underestimated Seattle, They have an excellent team and were simply better than the Pats in the SB,
Clearly the team over performed and Vrabel did a masterful job.
There is hope to build on. Building a top flight OL takes time and good coaching. I thought we had taken a major step forward with Campbell and Wilson..but now I am not so sure.

Drafting at 31 and at the bottom of each round, I am not sure we will find blue chippers to instantly turn the line around.

This team was easy to like and cheer for all year. It's been quite a while since I could say that I liked a Patriots team.

I'm not proud of this team tonight. Far from it. Defense is exempt from that. The offense got fully exposed on the world stage. Maye got exposed as well to an extent. How they/he responds next season will be telling.

I wish they could have at least played well enough to make the game watchable and entertaining.

They had a good year. There is reason to be optimistic about the future. However, there are no guarantees. It's very possible they may never get this chance again. A wasted opportunity indeed.

The way they built this team so fast. I see them building up, teaching, training that line and drafting well. This could go either way. This year was the blueprint. They crushed it.

Only one team can win. It is only a waste if they learn nothing from it. Miami got destroyed by Dallas in a SB 28-3. The next year went 17-0 and went on to back to back titles.

The 2018 Patriots won after losing the previous year. Eagles got revenge on KC two years after losing to them.

Maybe the Patriots and Seahawks will go at it in round 3 in a year or so.

We're in a tough conference quarterback wise. Wish we could have pulled this one out. Anyways, Sunday's are fun again thanks to Drake Maye.

Drake needs to read the book Drive by Bob Ryan. He can learn a think or two about what it takes to be a champion from Larry Legend himself. If he reads that book we should be in line for a couple of Super Bowl wins.

It’s tough to use the word “proud”. They really waited for the Super Bowl to play (and Coach) their worst game of the year. Maye hadn’t played a good game since the last game of the regular season. He didn’t learn from his mistakes in other playoff games.

I’m happy they had the season they had. They overachieved, but the Super Bowl just proved to me that this team needs so much more talent. Can only go so far with a lack of talent until you get exposed.

Marino got to ONE SB, hopefully that’s not the case with Maye. He was so bad in the playoffs and SB, he really hurt the team. Got away with it in other playoff games because his defense played outstanding. Not in the SB. He literally needed his defense to only give up 10 points, and he put the defense in a bad spot. I’m not sure I have confidence in Maye, and that’s a ****ty feeling. Especially since he’s my favorite Patriot. But he looked like Herbert in the Playoffs.

You should be proud.

A very likable team. No primadonnas. Just a bunch of hard workers that proved the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Bring on next season's so called dreaded schedule. Fans of the other 31 will have to find some new reason to hate.

I would say the word is concerned. I’m not sure what we have in Maye. I am worried he might not be “The One”. His playoff play was dreadful. His defense saved his ass several times. Concerned.
Lmao.

If there’s anything you need to be concerned about after this game is that Will Campbell is prob a guard as some have speculated, and that the team might be in the market for a LT again.

Maye finished one vote short of being league MVP, then went through an absolute gauntlet of the NFLs best defenses, two of which were in a snow storm. The fact that you mention we don’t know what we have in him is an absolute joke to be quite honest. But I understand, you’re prob very emotional atm and rightfully so, but still a ridiculous statement.

Oh and lest the forget the fact that he had his shoulder shot up before the game and couldn’t feel it, will prob learn in the next few days just how extensive the damage to it was.
