Grateful at the restored competence. It has been since 2018 that I felt like the team was being run really well. Vrabel and company are running this team as well as any I've ever seen.

Grateful at the lack of individualism. There's nobody bigger than the team, no personality with a huge shadow.

Grateful at how good the coaching is, week to week. It has taken me a couple of months to realize how good all this is.

Grateful at having a winning season that's beyond anything I set myself up for.

Grateful for the Krafts for doing the right thing and then getting out of the way. They lost that fastball a few years ago. I haven't had a feeling of appreciation for them for a while.
Grateful that I'll get to watch this coach and this QB for years.

Greedy because I'm already getting the hate from people in other aspects of my life..."how's it feel to root for a cheating franchise...." etc. Bwhahaha. I've learned a whole new exaggerated smirk in response, a clear expression of schadenfreude.

Greedy for a seventh SB win to put the team out front on that stat.

Greedy for the vets on the team who are living a dream. Morgan Moses is such a good NFL citizen, so generous with his time and wisdom. He's just one of several that deserve a ring.

Greedy because the AFC East has become a mess again, and I want to keep stomping all over it. There seems to be a relationship between the Pats' success and everyone else falling apart.

But in the end, Greedy because I just want another SB win. Plain and simple. I just want it.

Been a fan since 1991 when I moved to New Hampshire for work. grateful for Mr Kraft ever since he took ownership. He has made some amazing moves since his fandom in 1971. He deserves to be in the HOF!

I moved to NH a few years before you, and was there for almost 30. Was raised in Virginia and a DC pro sports fan but gave that up at the drop of a hat, and never looked back after moving away.

I came from Maryland, but only stayed in New England through 1996. Have lived in NJ, PA, MD and now NC since but Pats have always been my team.

I see the FEB game as a very tall mountain to climb. But, even though my head is prepared for the worst, my heart won’t allow me not to dream of rings…

I have been a fan since they were the Boston Patriots. My mother used to play the radio in the morning when we were having breakfast before school, and I remember the sports guy talking about Gino Capelletti, Jim Nance, Babe Parilli, and so on. The games weren't on television, of course, not in central Mass. anyway, so they were just sort of mythical beings built of the sketchy details I got on the radio. In later years I would grab a copy of the Globe at the Rexall store when I could to flesh them out a little bit.

Most of the years I have followed them they have not been very good, then came the dynasty, year after surprising year. I figured that was maybe about it, that I had gotten my allotment of rooting for a team at the top of the heap. I thought the high point would be listening to Gil and Gino announce the team's first SB win on the radio. Then it went on, year after year, always in legit contention. Now this: such good fortune that it's almost weird. Hard to believe.

Makes me feel guilty. I had intended to go into the Super Bowl entirely unprepared. Maybe oil up the reclining mechanism on my old Barcalounger, but that's about it.

Thats what we’re here for, push each other out of our comfort zones! The team needs us

Good stuff, you have to admit we as fans were happy when they won more than 4 games. Anything beyond that has been a bonus, a cherry on top. To win the Super Bowl is a huge ask BUT it looks like there is a chance they can. The Seahawks are and should be favored although this edition of the Patriots are hard to beat so we'll enjoy it win or lose. It's still been a heck of a season!

Humble beginnings for the team, and the AFL. The greatness of those AFL Patriots, in half of the years of the AFL, are mostly unknown and/or dismissed, mainly due to local Boston media's eternal jihad to disparage and denigrate anything to do with the team, mainly due to their owner. Treating tremendous on field accomplishments as irrelevant if not nonexistent due to rancor against ownership is despicable. And, it continues to this day.

Good fortune for us, the fans. But success is no accident, and regardless of the imperfections of our owners, they all made excellent decisions to make the Patriots so competitive on the field.

My attitude since 1974.

I myself would verbalize an appropriate response, such as "How's it feel to treat undocumented immigrants as criminals when being here without papers is a civil, not criminal, offense and the only reason they're undocumented is they either couldn't get a visa or overstayed because leaving would have destroyed their families, livelihoods and/or lives?" or "How's it feel to be in favor of the Holocaust?" or "How's it feel to be in favor of Executive Order #9066?" or "How's it feel to want slavery reinstated?"

I spent almost all my day yesterday on the phone or Zoom with people in my field who feel the world deeply and are traumatized, angry, confused, sad...usually strong people who are a mess. And know that others count on them to be strong and clear and that they are failing in that regard right now.

My football fandom serves as a respite from all that, an island of relief, so I'm not going to mix the two. Watching this coaching staff and players come together for a common cause, without anyone asking to be favored along the way is a counter weight to all else that's going on in the world. And it would be easy to assume that people who hate the Patriots are also hateful in general, but we all know that's not true.

But I hear you. A lot of anger and hate just spilling out of people and creating more of the same. Be well.

Thanks. Always good to get the pantytwisting bunboy perspective in the affairs of the day. Get yourself a nice mani-pedi with the other ladies and you'll be fine.
