It’s a good position to be in, honestly. Seahawks are clearly favored by like 80-90% of “analysts”.

I do believe the match up is closer than people think. It’s all about Maye versus the Seattle defense. And it’s a “what have you done for me lately” type of thing. Maye’s worst football has, unsurprisingly, been against this string of elite defenses. Seahawks are another one.

I think it will be a great game all up to our MVP to do enough.

It's been against this string of elite defenses in bad weather. Hard to tell whether his kryptonite has been one or the other, or the combination. Having sat in a beautiful, sunny Gillette and watched him dismantle a vaunted Cleveland defense, I'm leaning toward weather being the biggest factor. Santa Clara should offer a good chance to untangle the variables!

Yup, and honestly I thought that was what we were destined for. But I’m fine with the alternative. The Seahawks are formidable too. But I like we get to face the QB with the most turnovers this season. Time to bring the ghosts back out.

look at mayes 2nd half vs the chargers and texans, though.....if the weather didn't get stupid, i suspect they collectively would have adjusted and moved the ball yesterday, too

Yeah, I'm hoping that the relatively perfect for football weather they'll likely be playing in will result in a decided upswing.

The Seattle D certainly didn't do much to shut down Stafford yesterday.

Well he had more than 300 total yds against the Chargers. 270 yds passing.

They moved the ball. Almost 400 yds of offense. Turnovers and settling for FG instead of TD kept the game close.
