I certainly hope he likes competition though. There will be three teams in his division with an elite QB/great QB/franchise QB. Not to mention how good the coaches are.

He seems like a nice kid a baller; a lot of Draft Experts like him. Maye was considered the Third QB in his Draft class but had the most Upside.

Miami has 45 players under contract going into next year assuming that Tua and Hill are gone.
They have a young LT, a young Center, An All-Pro RB, Waddle and some decent compliments at receiver. They have some good parts on defense as well in Zeiler, Brooks, Chop Robinson, Fitzpatrick.

They are rebuilding. A Good GM will tell the owners that 2026 is likely to be a lost year without a top QB. A good GM will tell the owner that they will need 3 years to rebound. This lost year, a year for the Rookie QB to grow and then the new year. Heck, if the GM is good, he trades someone like Achane or Waddle to add to end draft capital for the 2027 draft.

Mendoza is not considered to be at the level of any of the top 3 picks in 2024 as a prospect.

I haven’t dissected Miami’s situation, but if what you’re saying is true…. 2-3 seasons max to turn it around for a good coach and team builder.

If would be dumbfounding for a HC with the track record of Harbaugh who has (reportedly) garnered strong interest from multiple teams to pick a team without a legit starting QB, or an obvious path to acquiring a legit starting QB in the near future. The Dolphins have no QB and have a losing culture dating back 2 decades.

The Giants, if he thinks that Dart is legit, should be first on his list.

I really hope Miami does not hire John Harbaugh. As much as we do not like the Ravens, he is a pretty decent coach.
