To miss playoff games, absolutely. With the JETE and Lolphins up next, it must be a pretty significant injury to put him on IR.

Not sure why the rules would change for the playoffs.
Yeah that’s what I’m saying. It would be the two final regular season games, plus two playoff games, if applicable. The question is does the bye count as a "game" for IR purposes. If not, and the Pats get the bye, he'd be out unless they reach the Super Bowl. Remember it's 4 games, not 4 weeks.
I think the rule is 4 games vs 4 weeks to avoid teams using the bye week to “abuse” the rule and get looks at extra players on their roster since they can IR a guy and lose one less game.Yeah that’s what I’m saying. Assuming playoff byes are treated like regular season byes, he would either be back for the AFC title game if we play in the WC round, or the Super Bowl if we get a bye. Which also brought back my point why the rule being 4 games instead of weeks is stupid
I’m not concerned. Boutte will get more targets and Diggs, Williams and Douglass will get more snaps.Brutal.
Unfortunately now we will see just how valuable he is.
Reported a abdominal injury. Hard to really know the full extent as him being placed on IR means he can return in 4 games.. so Jets, Miami,Damn. Whatever he’s dealing with must be a mess. That’s a shame, he’s been a great contributor despite the disrespect from some on this board. Wish him the best and hope he recovers fully.
Agreed. This means more opportunities for Williams and it just seems as if injuries are piling up at the worst possible time for us.. I like Hollins and hopefully we'll be playing deep enough in the postseason to see his return. If not he's still a big part of what we do going into next season. That is a huge loss. He’s gotten better as the year went and is a huge target in the middle of the field for maye. We’ll find a way though
Mack was on pace to match or surpass his best statistical season when he was in LV with Josh. It stinks. But provided we make a deep run the good news is he will return and is under contact going forward. So it's now on Diggs, Williams, Boutte, Chism, Henry, pop, Hooper. Our receivers don't drop passes, but Mack was a big body with strong hands & catch radius which we no longer have. As far as big targets go, Hooper will be more essential now depending on the personnel groupings.
It stinks.. point blank. Injuries are affecting us at the worst possible time. Could ultimately be what derails the postseason run.One guy they couldn't afford to lose.
Big hole now in the pass and run game both.
I don't expect anything from chime. Too slowMack was on pace to match or surpass his best statistical season when he was in LV with Josh. It stinks.
